EFT Tapping Connection How does EFT work
The stress centre in the brain, the amygdala, is engaged when someone thinks (worries) about something/ a problem.

Using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Matrix Reimprinting and Heart Math tools in a trauma informed space, I work gently with people who are seeking to change old unhelpful patterns and beliefs, &/or trauma to bring peace and growth into their lives. Through fMRIs and EEG studies it has been shown that the amygdala and hippocampus (memory storage) quietens down when tapping. Tapping on the acu

pressure points activates the neural pathways from the acupressure points to the amygdala reducing the activity in the stress centre of the brain. This is proof of the body brain connection in action. EFT has been shown to work in the following areas:
• Foster better sleep and sleep habits
• Increase self esteem, clear thinking, positive feelings and a sense
of greater peace
• improve performance – artistic, professional, athletic etc.
• Empower children, parents and families
• Increase energy and productivity
• Move us beyond self limiting beliefs and open us towards greater

~~ Moving Beyond Regulation with EFT Tapping & Sound ~~

After The Magic of Self Regulation, this follow-on workshop with Megan and Juan explores what comes next. A practical and restorative workshop designed to help you move further into real-life application of EFT Tapping practices.
While nervous system regulation can create more calm and capacity, we all know, life still happens. There are still bills, relationships, pressures, expectations, conflict, mental load, and the stories we carry around ourselves and the world.

This workshop is about the choice point that exists within those moments.

In this session we’ll explore how EFT/Tapping can help reduce the emotional intensity around common daily stressors. Rather than forcing positivity or bypassing what’s real, EFT Tapping helps us gently meet what’s present — calming the nervous system while creating space for new perspectives, emotional shifts, and more conscious responses. Drawing from a heart-centred and compassionate approach, this workshop supports participants to move toward:

~ self compassion over self criticism
~ clarity over overwhelm
~ response over reaction
~ connection over disconnection
~ authenticity over automatic patterns

You’ll learn simple ways to regulate emotional responses, interrupt stress patterns, and create greater perspective and clarity.

The session will close with a deeply restorative gong relaxation session to support integration, reflection, and nervous system reset.

Includes a light lunch.

A grounding, practical, and restorative experience for anyone wanting greater emotional freedom, resilience, and choice in daily life.

It is always a fab time working with Megan and today was no exception. 🌟💖

Today Juan from EFT Tapping Connection and I hosted our fourth Magic of Self Regulation workshop in Latrobe.

It might be the only workshop where yawns are celebrated 🤣! We get to watch first hand as people switch into relaxation mood. Shoulders drop, jaws relax, yawns erupt, tummies gurgle.

We were blessed with such a wonderful group of smiling and willing participants and we are so looking forward to hearing their feedback and ways the techniques are used moving forward.

In 3 weeks, on Saturday 29th May, we will be hosting our next workshop - Tapping for Everyday Stress.
This is the next step from self regulation and moves into using Tapping to shift perspective on daily stressors.

Its so exciting!
