Jayarna did a great job today. The official times are not in yet but Jayarna had an approx 5min improvement on last year.

It was a lovely morning to get dressed up for such a great cause. We were joined by my mum Karen Jones and my niece Ruby. It was our third year of doing it all together. 😀

I’m so incredibly proud of this young lady!!

Watching Jayarna grow over the past five years has been such a privilege. From the very beginning, we've worked together on building confidence, developing everyday life skills, and strengthening the work skills that would one day help her achieve her goals.

Today, seeing her dressed in her work uniform and dropping her off to work fills me with so much pride. It hasn't always been easy, but she has shown incredible determination, resilience, and courage every step of the way. Every challenge she faced, she met with persistence, and every small achievement helped build the foundation for this moment.

This job is so much more than just a first job—it's the result of years of hard work, growth, and believing in herself. Seeing her walk into this new chapter reminds me why I love what I do.

Jayarna, I couldn't be prouder of you. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. This is only the beginning, and I know you have so many wonderful things ahead of you. Keep setting goals and keep reaching for the stars!

Bria has had a great day.

We started the day off with a sneaky early morning Icecream from swirlicious who were at Beaconsfield market.

We then went for a couple of games of bowling before going to watch some of Bria’s friends in a show, the show was great and all the kids did a wonderful job.

This afternoon we checked into our accomodation and did some shopping. Spent some time cooking then ended our day with a swim and spa!

Nicole has had a great weekend. We spent Friday night and Saturday morning doing some cooking.

This morning we did a scavenger hunt around Launceston before going to do the boags brewery tour. We learnt a lot but opted for soft drink at the end :)

Jayarna and I had a lovely afternoon at a hat burning workshop this afternoon.It was lots of fun :)

Nicole has been very busy so far this weekend!

Friday night we did some cooking ready for our busy weekend. We made pizza, soup and breakfast muffins ready to grab before we headed out the door early Saturday morning.

Today we went off to agfest. The weather was perfect and Nicole had a great day checking out agfest, chatting to people about different things and just soaking in the atmosphere. Nicole also did a great job going out of her comfort zone going up in the tas networks crane and seeing agfest from above!

We managed to get a small rest in before we went off to the Albert hall tonight to check out out of the mist. It was a great show!

It’s been a busy day today for Nicole!

Nicole has been chosen to go away with one of the Tasmanian state teams for tenpin bowling so this morning we headed to the bowling alley to get some coaching to help prepare Nicole for the upcoming trip.

This afternoon was a little more relaxed, we attended a “puzzle and chill” group with some other local puzzle enthusiasts and this evening we are preparing to do some cooking, starting with Anzac biscuits 😀
