As the weather starts to warm up, the UV is already high! 🌤️ If you have a wedding, formal, holiday or special occasion coming up, now is the time to be mindful of your skin & sun exposure

🤎 PLEASE NOTE: SPRAY TANS & SUNBURN

A spray tan should never be applied over sunburnt skin. Sunburnt skin needs time to heal, & depending on the severity, this can take several weeks — in some cases, up to 6 weeks

This is why I always ask about sunburn & the condition of your skin before your appointment ❤️‍🩹

The active tanning ingredient, DHA, can accentuate existing dryness & peeling, which may leave your tan looking patchy & uneven The best tan starts with healthy, hydrated skin!

The day after your spray tan, you can shower as per usual. Making sure to pat dry always & apply moisturiser straight out of the shower for best results✨️

Need to extend the tan beyond 7-10 days? You want a gradual tanning product

Your face & hands will fade the fastest & I would always recommend a tanning water to keep these areas glowing ✨

Applying SPF when outside, a spray tan will not provide protection f️rom the sun
This also will create a barrier for any water activities

A little update for my lovely clients 🤎

I am currently not taking any new clients & bookings until December/January 2027. All appointments that are already booked are confirmed & will go ahead as scheduled

I have a lot happening behind the scenes at the moment, so I’m making a few temporary changes in availability. In the meantime, I’ll be continuing to provide mobile services

Mobile service pricing is from $65 & $85 for bridal

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, which is why at Diamond Tans , skin health & barrier care are at the heart of every spray tan

While you can certainly find a cheaper tan, there is often a reason for the difference in price. After 6 years of spraying, I’ve continued to invest in education, refine my techniques & learn more about the products & ingredients that truly support beautiful, healthy-looking skin

There are endless tanning products available at the supermarket, but not all formulas are created equally. Ingredients matter, particularly if you have sensitive skin or specific skin concerns. Your tan should complement your skin — never compromise it

At Diamond Tans, every tan is thoughtfully customised to your skin tone, undertone & desired result. The professional products I use & custom blends I create are designed to help nourish, hydrate & enhance your skin, while giving you that effortless, refined glow 🤎

✨ A Diamond Tans glow can last 7–10+ days when cared for correctly — with daily moisturising & gently patting your skin dry after showering

DHA can naturally be drying to the skin, which is why hydration & aftercare are so important. The goal is never that dry, patchy “tiger bread” effect. It’s a smooth, even, beautifully fading glow that looks & feels luxurious from beginning to end

For the perfect canvas:
• Exfoliate thoroughly the day before your appointment
• Shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin where possible

To prolong your glow:
• Apply a hydrating moisturiser daily
• Avoid mineral oils such as Petrolatum, Liquid Paraffin and Paraffinum Liquidum
• Choose a gentle body wash without SLS, SLES or ALS to help prevent stripping the colour
• Pat your skin dry rather than rubbing
