Many of the robust AAC apps are again on sale at 50% off autism awareness month in April. Assistive Ware (makers of Proloquo apps) will be having a sale also. Talk to your Speechie as to your child’s needs and whether this may a good time to purchase. They will generally go on sale again in October for AAC awareness month. 😀

New medicare rebates available for people under 25 with a speech sound disorder, stuttering or cleft lip/palate. Commencing next week.

From 1 March 2026, Medicare M10 will expand to include stuttering, speech sound disorders and cleft lip/palate, giving under‑25s access to rebated assessment and therapy. SPA outlines eligibility, referral requirements and differences from CCMP.

Great opportunity for Minecraft fans!!

We have a special sensory session of MINECRAFT on WED APR 23, 10.30am where the lights are turned up a little and the sound is lowered. The movie will be shown with open captions to allow our patrons to enjoy the film with text and sound descriptions.
