There's a new moon (total solar eclipse) this week, in Leo — and it's a strong one.

Across the astrology world, one thread keeps showing up: a chance to let go of the parts of ourselves we perform for others. The roles we play so well we forget we're playing them. The version that shows up steady, capable, on top of it — while the quieter, truer parts wait their turn.

This new moon isn't asking you to perform anything. Not even relaxation. It's an invitation to put the performance down for a moment and see what's still there underneath.

Floating offers that opportunity. Take away the mirror, the audience, the next thing to do — and what's left is just you. No one to be for. Nothing to prove.

What would it feel like to stop performing, even for an afternoon?

Fear tells you the world is dangerous and you are small.

Love tells you the truth: you are safe enough, right now, to stop bracing.

The storm doesn't need fighting. It just needs to move through.

Reminder: find a hiding spot from world so you can recharge and stop pretending you're a functioning human and become one again. Quiet, solo, and utterly necessary.

This Tuesday brings the new moon — the moon in her own home sign, which is a nice thing for a moon that's asking us to come home to ourselves.
There's a particular flavour to this one. It's less about setting big bold intentions and more about a quieter question: what actually makes you feel safe? Not the answer you'd give without thinking — the one underneath, that you haven't had the space to ask yourself in a while.
It's easy to spend years taking care of everyone else and quietly forgetting to ask ourselves that question. This moon is a gentle nudge to ask it anyway.
Floating does something similar — the water, the dark, the silence take the noise away, and what's actually true for you gets a chance to surface. No performing, no fixing. Just listening.
So maybe this week, in whatever small way fits your life: make the cup of tea, take the bath, book the float, sit in the quiet for ten minutes longer than you meant to. See what's actually there when you stop and listen.

This is such a insight into the subtleties of deep relaxation. Letting go is still active and can easily engage the mind into a dialogue such as: do I want to let go or even how do I do it? Can I let go, am I safe? What will I lose/gain etc. Which jams up the relaxation process.
Being held is being in a state receptivity and trust — the letting go falls away and there's nothing to do.
Once you've had a few floats with us and realise you can trust the whole process you can start to access extraordinary levels of surrender and relaxation and the true magic has the opportunity to arise.
Ah the wonder of floatation therapy in a sensory controlled environment and safe space. Come and lose yourself to discover an even more amazing version of you.

This new moon sits in Gemini — the curious, quick, talkative part of us. The part with a hundred ideas, a dozen tabs open, and a mind that rarely sits still.
There's nothing wrong with that energy. It's how we learn and connect. But all that noise can drown out the quietest, truest voice of all — your own. It can also keep us replaying the same old stories about who we are and what's possible, without ever pausing to ask if they're still true.
A new moon is the dark phase. Nothing to react to, nothing to perform — just stillness, and an invitation to turn inward. This one isn't asking you to figure it all out or fill every gap. Quite the opposite: make a little space, and resist the urge to rush in and fill it. The clarity comes when it's ready — and often it arrives not as a louder answer, but as a softer, better question.
Floating does the same thing this moon does. It takes the input away, so what's underneath can finally be heard. No effort, nothing to fix — just you, met exactly as you are. 🌑
