🍛❤️ WHEN DR NALIKA TURNS LUNCHTIME INTO A SRI LANKAN FEAST! ❤️🍛

Forget meal prep… Dr Nalika took feeding the Health Nexus family to a WHOLE new level today! 😍👏

We were treated to an incredible homemade Sri Lankan feast, with an amazing spread of delicious dishes lovingly prepared for the entire practice. 🤤🍚🍗

Of course, we may have had a few special requests thrown into the mix… (Bella 😉) 😂👀

✨ Butter chicken? ✔️
✨ Naan bread? ✔️
✨ Happy, very well-fed staff? ABSOLUTELY! ✔️🤣

Because apparently, being a doctor at Health Nexus means looking after your colleagues’ lunch cravings as well as your patients! 😂❤️

A massive THANK YOU to Dr Nalika for putting so much time, love and effort into cooking for everyone. It was such a beautiful gesture, and we are very lucky to have you as part of our Health Nexus family. 🥰

Needless to say, the afternoon productivity will be very questionable… food comas were definitely on the cards! 😴😂

🌸💐 A LITTLE BIT OF GARDEN MAGIC AT HEALTH NEXUS! 💐🌸

We were very spoilt this week when one of our beautiful patients arrived at Health Nexus with her arms full of flowers… straight from her own garden! 🥰🌿

And because apparently ONE bunch wasn’t enough… she had thoughtfully picked multiple bunches to share with our team! 💐💐💐

Safe to say, the clinic was suddenly looking (and smelling!) a whole lot prettier! 😍🌸

There’s something extra special about receiving flowers that have been grown and picked with love, and our team were absolutely delighted by this beautiful surprise. 💙

A huge THANK YOU for such a thoughtful gesture. It’s moments like these that remind us just how lucky we are to have such wonderful patients. 🥰

Our team may spend their days looking after everyone else… but it’s pretty lovely when someone takes a moment to look after them too. 💙🌿

Now the big question… who gets to take them home?! 😂💐

Privileged to welcome Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Michael Ferguson MP to Health Nexus Launceston.

We talked about access on the ground, same-day appointments, after-hours care, and keeping primary care local so families in the north are not defaulting to urgent care or ED for things a family GP can manage.

They also asked about what comes next. We updated them on Health Nexus Latrobe, our planned health and wellbeing precinct for the Mersey region, and on our other projects around Launceston. There is a lot in motion, and some genuinely exciting things ahead for patients in both the north and the north-west.

This practice was built the long way: no grants, one room first, then the rest, while we kept seeing patients through the build. It only worked because the community showed up for which we are grateful 🙏.

Thank you both for walking the floor, meeting the team, and taking the time to listen. Always happy to keep that conversation going.

Newest GP medical centre in the heart of Launceston ✅

We’ll always welcome additional health service in Tasmania’s north.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM HEALTH NEXUS 🚨

The boss has been spotted at the reception desk… and within approximately 4.5 seconds, absolute chaos and mischief have commenced. 😂

Apparently, being in charge means:

✨ Touching things you probably shouldn’t
✨ Asking 47 questions at once
✨ Distracting reception from their actual jobs
✨ Creating problems purely for the entertainment value
✨ And, of course, insisting “we’re just helping” 🤨😂

Reception has officially entered SURVIVAL MODE. 🫠

All non-essential personnel are kindly asked to keep a safe distance from the front desk until further notice. 😂

Management has been notified of the situation…

Unfortunately, management IS the situation. 😂
