☘️ Well, it’s official…our Tall Irish Doctor has arrived! ☘️

Day One at Norwood Medical Centre and we thought the best way to welcome our newest team member was with a little Irish spirit… and matching shirts, of course! 😂

He’s already been surrounded by two very enthusiastic members of the welcome committee, so we’re pretty sure he’s feeling right at home.

We’re thrilled to have you on board, Dr Tall Irish! Here’s to settling in, plenty of laughs, great coffee and hopefully no requests for Guinness on the medical supply order! 😜

💙 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

This month is a reminder for men to take an active role in looking after their prostate health.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting Australian men, and the risk increases with age. Knowing your risk factors and talking with your doctor about prostate health can help you make informed decisions about screening and early detection.

👨‍⚕️ Talk to your GP if you:

Are concerned about changes in urination or other prostate symptoms
Have a family history of prostate cancer
Are unsure whether prostate cancer screening is appropriate for you
Or would simply like to discuss your prostate

Importantly, prostate cancer does not always cause symptoms in it's early stages, so having a conversation with your doctor is worthwhile.

Don’t put it off. Make your prostate health part of your regular health check.

After some wonderful years caring for our patients with kindness, dedication and professionalism, we’re saying a temporary farewell to one of our much-loved GPs, Dr Graham Hubbard. 💙

We are so grateful for the care, wisdom and warmth he has shared with our patients and our practice team. He’s taking some well-deserved time to enjoy precious family time.

While we will certainly miss seeing him around the practice, we hope this isn’t goodbye for good. We look forward to hopefully welcoming him back when the time is right.

🦆 A DUCK-TOR IS BACK IN THE HOUSE!🦆

We are absolutely over the moon to have our wonderful doctor back at Norwood Medical Centre! 🩺

When we know that his favourite jumper features a duck, we thought, well…that’s all the information we need.

So, to celebrate his first day back, we did what any completely normal medical team would do…we bought duck jumpers and wore them on his first day to surprise him. 🦆

Was he expecting it? Probably not.
Was it subtle? Absolutely not.
Did we regret our life choices? Not for a second. 🤣

And the best part - with our doctor back where he belongs, we can officially say we’ve got all our ducks in a row! 🦆🦆🦆 🤣
