In collaboration with the wonderful team at Boags Brewery we are excited to announce a Boags themed flash tattoo day to celebrate the life of a very important company both locally and Australia wide. With live bands, Bbq & beverages provided by Boags Brewery - our staff will be tattooing Boags theme flash of all sizes from 11am - 6pm on Saturday November 7th. Even if tattoos aren’t for you, feel free to come enjoy some music on the Dorsia Tattoo Rooftop whilst we celebrate all things Boags Brewery πŸ™πŸΌπŸ»

Dorsia Tattoo Studio is thrilled to announce the addition of tattooing legend Jimmy Myatt to the team. With an incredible career of 25 years in the tattoo industry, Jimmy has an unparalleled knowledge of tattooing and experience not just locally, but world wide.

Starting work under Launcestons own Tubby Quinn at Launceston Tattoos, Jimmy spread his wings early and made the move to tattoo with Tony Cohens at Illustrated Man tattoo studio , Surry hills, NSW.

After quickly becoming recognised for his skills, Jimmy jumped over the big ocean to work in Philadelphia, USA at the famous β€œCadillac Tattoo Studios”

After this came a stay in England working for Andy & Derek Higham.

In 2011, Jimmy (now back in Tasmania) opened Launcestons β€œOf Kings & Gods” tattoo studio which really began to push and progress tattooing locally, becoming a hub for new and old tattoo enthusiasts - There aren’t many clients that come through our doors that havnt been tattooed at Jimmys studio.

Deciding to close Of Kings and Gods after an incredible 15 Years, Jimmy will be joining us as a full time artist from late October / early November. We are all very excited to have Jimmy on board and look forward to welcoming Jimmys clients to our space for another chapter to JImmys incredible career.
