This is what a Distance Healing session looks like from my side. 🤍
This afternoon I settled into this little spot on my bed, notebook beside me, rain falling outside and the sounds of birds and insects coming through.
And somewhere else, a beautiful little client was simply going about his day while I worked with his energy.
Today's session had such a clear message from the very beginning...
Come back to yourself first.
We started by slowing everything down.
Grounding.
Settling.
Bringing his energy back into himself and strengthening that feeling of being safe, steady and supported within his own foundations.
And only then did the energy begin to change.
It became lighter.
Freer.
More playful.
More confident.
The music shifted throughout the session almost perfectly alongside it — from slow, grounding sounds into lighter guitar, then brighter, more energising music as we moved through.
At one point I looked at the image accompanying the music and smiled.
A little boy sitting peacefully, eyes closed, surrounded by light.
It felt like such a beautiful representation of where the session had landed.
Not shut down.
Not contained.
Grounded enough to be free.
That distinction feels important.
Because grounding isn't about making ourselves smaller or heavier.
It's creating enough safety and stability within ourselves that our energy has somewhere solid to rise from.
And as I finished writing my notes, something else had shifted too.
The rain had stopped.
The sun was beginning to shine through.
And I realised how different I felt.
This is one of the things I love most about this work.
When I hold this kind of space for another person, I enter it too.
I slow down.
I become present.
I tune out the noise.
And while the session is completely focused on the person I'm working with, I inevitably finish feeling calmer, clearer and more connected within myself too.
Today I started this session feeling tired.
I finished it feeling peaceful, relaxed and somehow much lighter.
Maybe that's something so many of us need at the moment.
Not to keep pushing ourselves into a "higher vibration".
But to come back down first.
Into our bodies.
Into safety.
Into ourselves.
And from there...
let the lightness come. ✨
