It wasn’t the scales that got me today… it was my socks. 🧦
Sounds ridiculous, I know.
Yesterday I shared that my pants were already doing up easier on Day 3 of the Detox… but today something even stranger happened.
I put on my usual work socks — the bright blue ones I wear every week under my uniform (a little bit of personality where no one really sees it 💙).
Put my shoes on… and they felt loose.
At first I thought, "Maybe these socks are thinner?”
But they’re not.
By the end of the day, my feet were actually slipping in my shoes — and they were tied the same as always.
That’s when it hit me…
The fluid in my feet and ankles has gone down.
Not weeks from now.
Not “maybe if I stick to it.”
Three days.
I wasn’t even going to weigh myself yet… but curiosity got me this morning:
2.9kg down in THREE days.
And honestly?
That’s not even the best part.
I’m sleeping INCREDIBLY.
No bloating.
No heavy, uncomfortable feeling.
Clear head.
Steady energy.
I just feel… good in my body again.
And that’s what most people are actually chasing, isn’t it?
Not punishment.
Not restriction.
Just feeling like themselves again.
