Hi, I'm Elissa.
I'm a wife and a mum to two beautiful boys, a nearly 3 year old and a 4 month old. Becoming a mother has been the most incredible journey and has given me an even deeper appreciation for how amazing our bodies are. Having experienced both an emergency caesarean and a planned caesarean, I have a personal understanding of the physical and emotional recovery that so many women experience.
I've been a Myotherapist for over a decade and have been running my own home-based clinic for more than four years. I truly feel so grateful that this is the work I get to do.
My passion for the lymphatic system actually began at university, where I found it fascinating. Later, I completed further study in Oncology Massage because I felt naturally drawn to supporting people through that journey. During that course, we learnt more about lymphatic drainage, which reignited my interest and inspired me to continue my education with specialised lymphatic drainage training.
Lymphatic treatments have become one of my greatest passions. I love supporting clients through post-surgical recovery, scar therapy and helping restore the body's natural flow. Even in many of my Myotherapy treatments, I incorporate techniques to support the lymphatic system because of the important role it plays in healing and overall wellbeing.
I especially love working with the abdomen, where our breath, organs, nervous system and lymphatic system are so deeply interconnected.
Over the years, I've realised what I love most isn't just treating pain, it's holding space for people, listening with compassion, and creating a calm environment where they can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and allow themselves the opportunity to heal.
Outside the clinic you'll usually find me spending time with my family, doing yoga, working in the garden, or simply soaking up nature.
Thank you for being here, whether you've been with me for years or you've only just found my page. I'm so looking forward to welcoming you into my new space and supporting you on your health journey. 🤍
