This Sunday, local boy NATHAN HERNE is about to do something pretty bloody special, make his debut in Australia’s biggest motor race, the BATHURST 1000! 🏎️🇦🇺
Nathan has been training with me at THE BUNKER since he was just 15 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow from a young bloke chasing a dream into one of Australia’s most talented young race drivers.
From Formula Ford, TA2, S5000 and back-to-back Australian Trans Am championships, to racing overseas in America, Nathan has worked incredibly hard to get where he is today.
And now, this Sunday, he’ll line up on the grid at Mount Panorama, driving the iconic #34 Team Valvoline Garry Rogers Motorsport Camaro, alongside James Moffat.
What’s even more special is that Nathan was originally meant to make his Bathurst 1000 debut back in 2020, but it wasn’t to be. Six years later, he’s finally getting his shot!
As his trainer, I’m incredibly proud of what he’s achieved. But more importantly, I’m proud of the hard work, dedication and determination he’s shown along the way.
From a young kid training at THE BUNKER in Lismore to the starting grid of the Bathurst 1000. How cool is that!
So come on, Bunker crew, let’s get right behind Nathan this weekend!
Drop a message below and wish him luck as he takes on the Mountain! 💪🏁
GO GET ’EM, NATHAN! THE WHOLE BUNKER CREW IS BEHIND YOU! 🇦🇺🏆
