Our Slow Down is back!

For those who joined us in the past, you’ll remember our Slow Down sessions as a space to pause, rest, and reconnect.

After some time away, we’re bringing them back in the format they were always intended to be.

Slow Down is a guided rest experience, a practice that invites deep relaxation while remaining awake and aware.

In a world that often asks us to keep pushing forward, this is an opportunity to do the opposite.

To slow down.
To soften.
To rest.

Whether you’ve attended before or are joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.

When: July 11th
Time: 9:00am - 10:00am
Location: Northern Rivers Conservatorium
Limited availability. Bookings link in bio.

Practitioners don’t change lives. People change their own lives. We simply help create the conditions for that change to occur.

We are no separate from what’s around us.

The sky expands, contracts, storms, softens, clears.

So does the nervous system.

So does the body.

We are all interconnected.

Our bodies aren’t just muscles and bones appearing to live in isolation.

They carry space, breath, weather, cycles.

Some days feel cloudy.

Some feel open and light.

Some hold tension before release.

Healing isn’t always about forcing the body to “perform.”

Sometimes it’s about remembering that the body already belongs to something greater, intelligent, rhythmic and ALIVE.

Pain, sleep and recovery, they all change when the nervous system feels safer.

Sometimes the goal isn’t to push harder.

Sometimes it’s to soften, to move slower.

Sleep affects everything.

Energy, mood, stress, recovery… even pain levels.

Most people notice how bad they feel after poor sleep, but underestimate how different the body feels after a good sleep.

Save this as a reminder to prioritise recovery.

17/05/2026

Pain recovery isn’t always about avoiding movement.

Sometimes it’s about rebuilding trust in your body through graded exposure and strength.

Context matters. Dosage matters. Fear matters too.

Low back pain isn’t always about “tight muscles.”
Sometimes it’s joint sensitivity, nervous system protection, and load your body hasn’t adapted to yet.

This session focused on:
- Calming irritation
- Improving support from surrounding muscles
- Educating the client on simple daily habits affecting their pain

Pain science + hands-on therapy = better outcomes.

There’s a moment when your body stops feeling like something you’re battling… and starts feeling like something you can trust again.

You move without guarding.
- You make plans without worrying about flare-ups.
- You feel stronger, steadier, more like yourself.
That’s what we’re really working toward.

Not just getting you out of pain but getting you back to living.

ps: if you haven’t done the we highly recommend it. It’s real fun! 🙌🏾

When you’ve been in survival mode for years, slowing down can feel worse — not better.
That doesn’t mean you’re fragile.

It means your nervous system is shifting from protection to perception.

Pain, fatigue and anxiety often surface when the body finally feels safe enough to notice them.

Save this if you’ve experienced it.

Share it with someone who thinks rest is “making them worse.”
