RIP Julie😔 We are very saddened to hear of your passing 😔 Not only did you touch our hearts when our youngest daughter was diagnosed at age 4 with type 1 diabetes & we attended many, many camps over the years, but you also supported our diabetic finger wipes business. You & Shannon were almost birthday buddies (a day apart) & she loved spending Camp Diabetes when it was close to both your birthdays, because she got to share birthday cake with you! Condolences to your family & many friends who you were blessed like us to have had crossed paths with you 💙

Julie has left us today. 💔😢 Camp Diabetes was her proudest moment. Oh.. She loved it. She worked hours and hours to make sure all the kids with Diabetes had an opportunity to not feel different. She made sure the children learnt that they were capable of achieving the same as any other child without Diabetes. She gave them courage… she gave them hope!

Jules, we are going to miss you so much. Your laugh, your dance moves , your determination and your love for your work and life. THANK YOU for all you have done for all of us. May you rest in peace. Fly high Jules, very high 🤍❤️

😷 Mask requirements across Queensland are coming into effect from 5pm today (Monday 29 March).

You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to.

You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as:
🛒 shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets
🏥 hospitals and aged care facilities
☕ hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafés (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only)
⛪ churches and places of worship
📚 libraries
🏋️‍♂️ indoor recreational facilities and gyms (except if doing strenuous exercise)
🖥️ indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you can’t physically distance)
🚆 public transport, taxis and rideshare, including waiting areas and queues for this transport
✈️ airports and travelling on planes.

It is strongly recommended you wear a mask outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways and thoroughfares.

👉 Masks do not need to be worn in some circumstances, including children under 12 years, where people have certain medical conditions, and in workplaces where it is not safe to do so.

You can remove your masks to consume food or drink.
