RIP Julie๐ We are very saddened to hear of your passing ๐ Not only did you touch our hearts when our youngest daughter was diagnosed at age 4 with type 1 diabetes & we attended many, many camps over the years, but you also supported our diabetic finger wipes business. You & Shannon were almost birthday buddies (a day apart) & she loved spending Camp Diabetes when it was close to both your birthdays, because she got to share birthday cake with you! Condolences to your family & many friends who you were blessed like us to have had crossed paths with you ๐
Julie has left us today. ๐๐ข Camp Diabetes was her proudest moment. Oh.. She loved it. She worked hours and hours to make sure all the kids with Diabetes had an opportunity to not feel different. She made sure the children learnt that they were capable of achieving the same as any other child without Diabetes. She gave them courageโฆ she gave them hope!
Jules, we are going to miss you so much. Your laugh, your dance moves , your determination and your love for your work and life. THANK YOU for all you have done for all of us. May you rest in peace. Fly high Jules, very high ๐คโค๏ธ
