Every family has a story. This is theirs.

Behind every person receiving support is a family who has been there through the difficult days, the small victories, and everything in between.

In this video, a mother shares her journey of caring for her daughter with autism and Down’s syndrome - the challenges she has faced, the strength it has taken, and what it means to finally have people walking alongside her family.

At Burmese Care, we are grateful to be a small part of their journey. For us, support is not only about providing a service - it is about listening, understanding and being there when families need us.

Sometimes, the right support doesn’t just make a difference for one person. It can make a difference for the whole family.

Support at Home: Restorative Care & End of Life Care — What’s the Difference?

The new Support at Home program includes different pathways designed to support older people based on their individual needs.

In this video, we explain:
⭐️Restorative Care Pathway - short-term support focused on helping you regain or maintain independence.
⭐️End-of-Life Pathway - additional support for older people who wish to remain at home during the final stage of life.

Understanding aged care can sometimes feel complicated, especially when language is a barrier. At Burmese Care, we’re here to help our community understand the available options and navigate the aged care system.

It was a great opportunity for our community members to learn, share information, and gain a better understanding of responsible waste disposal and recycling.

A big thank you to the Wyndham City Waste Education Team for taking the time to visit us and deliver such a valuable session. We truly appreciate your support and contribution to our community! 💚♻️

We hope everyone enjoyed the session and found the information helpful and beneficial.
