What an incredible day at the CAOS (Crestmead Annual Outdoor Spectacular) on the weekend!

It was fantastic to connect with so many members of the Logan community, meet local families, service providers and community leaders, and have meaningful conversations about inclusion, independence and creating opportunities for people living with disability.

Events like these remind us of the importance of community connection and collaboration. We loved sharing what Inclusive Solutions Australia is all about and hearing from so many people who are passionate about making a positive difference in our local community.

A huge thank you to PCYC Crestmead for hosting such a well-organised and welcoming event and for allowing ISA to be part of the experience. We are grateful for the opportunities PCYC continues to create for our participants, staff and the wider community.

We look forward to building on these connections and continuing to work together to create inclusive pathways, meaningful opportunities and stronger communities across Logan.

A Milestone Moment on the Water with Paul! 🛥️🎣

This week, support worker Lindsay had the absolute pleasure of heading out on the water with one of our long-term participants, Paul!

A few weeks ago, Paul asked if we could plan a fishing trip, and with the weather playing nice this week, they finally got the boat out. Lindsay asked Paul if he would like to take the wheel and drive quietly to the fishing grounds, and Paul jumped at the chance!

He did an absolute text-book job! While driving most of the day and waving to other boaties passing by, Paul said, "I never thought I could drive a boat!" He was so excited that he even rang his mum right from the water to share the awesome news.

Lindsay said he just couldn't get the smile off Paul's face all day! It is moments like this, building confidence and realizing you can achieve things you never thought possible, that make our work so rewarding.

Sensational driving, Paul! We are all so incredibly proud of you! 🙌

Today, at Inclusive Solutions Australia’s Head Office, we hosted the inaugural Logan NDIS Roundtable in partnership with Plan Partners.

What stood out to me wasn’t who was in the room.

It was the quality of the conversation.

This wasn’t a networking event.

There were no sales pitches.

No referral chasing.

No providers trying to outdo one another.

Instead, we brought together providers who genuinely care about the future of our sector and the participants we support.

We spoke openly about reform.

We spoke about compliance.

We spoke about safeguarding.

We spoke about workforce challenges, participant outcomes and what quality service delivery actually looks like in today’s environment.

Most importantly, we shared what is working.

Because the reality is that none of us have all the answers.

The providers who will thrive over the next five years won’t be the ones trying to protect their secrets. They’ll be the ones willing to learn, adapt, collaborate and continuously improve.

One of the things I said today was that the goal isn’t to be the smartest person in the room.

The goal is to put yourself in a room with people who challenge your thinking, share knowledge and make you better.

That’s exactly what happened today.

The NDIS is changing rapidly. As providers, we can either sit back and complain about it, or we can come together, have meaningful conversations and be part of shaping what good looks like moving forward.

This Roundtable was created to do exactly that.

Not once.

Not when it’s convenient.

But consistently.

Every two months.

A space where providers can come together to discuss reform, share best practice, strengthen business operations, improve safeguarding and learn from one another.

A huge thank you to Plan Partners for partnering with us on this initiative and to every provider who contributed to the discussion today.

The conversations were honest, respectful, strategic and exactly what our sector needs more of.

If you’d like to be part of future Roundtables and have a genuine passion for continuous improvement, strengthening business practices, safeguarding participants and helping shape the future of our sector, we’d love to hear from you.

This forum is designed for providers who are committed to learning, collaboration and operational excellence—organisations that want to stand strong through reform, embrace change and continue raising the benchmark for quality service delivery.

The Logan NDIS Roundtable is a bi-monthly initiative and we’re committed to creating a space where meaningful conversations lead to meaningful outcomes.

We are excited to officially launch the Logan NDIS Roundtable, proudly co-hosted by Plan Partners and Inclusive Solutions Australia (ISA).

As one of Australia’s leading NDIS organisations, Plan Partners has built a reputation for supporting thousands of participants, providers and industry professionals across the country. We are incredibly proud to be partnering with them to bring this new initiative to the Logan region.

The Logan NDIS Roundtable is an invitation-only forum designed to bring together NDIS providers, Support Coordinators, government representatives, sector leaders and key community stakeholders for meaningful discussion, collaboration and professional development.

This inaugural event will be held at the Inclusive Solutions Australia Head Office in Logan Central, providing an opportunity for sector leaders to connect, share insights, strengthen referral pathways and explore innovative approaches to improving outcomes for participants and families.

Our first roundtable comes at an important time for the sector, with significant NDIS reforms continuing to roll out across Australia. We are pleased to have Plan Partners leading discussions on the latest reform changes, unpacking what they mean for providers, participants and the broader disability community, while creating space for questions, shared learning and practical insights.

As the disability sector continues to evolve, strong partnerships and collaborative leadership have never been more important. Together, Plan Partners and ISA are committed to creating opportunities that strengthen our sector and ultimately deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.

We are looking forward to welcoming some of the region’s most respected organisations and leaders to the table.

Carmel’s Hydrotherapy Success 🏊‍♂️☕
There is nothing better than a workout that leaves you smiling! Carmel recently joined a new hydrotherapy group, and she was welcomed with open arms right from the very start.

The one-hour session was full of great exercise and plenty of funny interactions. You might not be able to tell from her focus because she was concentrating incredibly hard on balancing a cup of water while walking, but there was lots of laughter to be heard throughout the pool.

To wrap up a great morning, Carmel enjoyed a well-deserved coffee afterward. The plan moving forward is to make a real routine of this, reviewing a different local cafe every fortnight following her hydrotherapy sessions.

Carmel might be a little sore after all that hard work, but she is definitely not sorry! Exceptional effort, Carmel. 👍

This week Inclusive Solutions Australia attended the Aged and Disability Expo at Sea World Resort, and it was such a fantastic day.

There were so many amazing stallholders, services, and businesses all coming together with a real focus on connection, support, and community. The atmosphere throughout the event was incredible, from the live Elvis performance on stage to the raffles, photo booths, and all the great conversations happening throughout the day, it was genuinely such a fun and positive vibe.

It was also great catching up with Tamara Dunn from Knight On Call and Craig Wallace from Reliant Care, and of course jumping in the photobooth together for a few fun photos.

Events like these are such a great reminder of how important collaboration, networking, and community are within the aged care and disability sectors.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising such a well-run and engaging event. Looking forward to more opportunities like this in the future.
