When was the last time your loved one received gentle, nurturing touch? 🌿
For many older adults, life can become smaller over time. Mobility changes. Social circles shrink. Partners may be gone. Family visits can be less frequent than anyone would like. And sometimes the only touch they regularly receive is practical or clinical.
If you’re a carer, daughter, son, partner or family member, you may have noticed that your loved one is becoming more isolated, anxious, withdrawn, stiff, unsettled or simply missing that sense of connection.
Gentle massage can offer more than relief for tired muscles. It can provide warmth, calm, reassurance and the simple experience of being cared for.
Herbal Touch offers gentle, senior-friendly mobile massage for older adults in their own homes, retirement villages and aged-care settings across the Shoalhaven.
Sessions are adapted to each person’s comfort and mobility, with chair or table massage available. I also work with people receiving comfort care, palliative support and end-of-life care, where the focus may simply be on calm, presence and gentle touch.
Home Care Package pathways are available.
If someone you love could benefit from a little more comfort, connection and nurturing care, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

A little Sunday evening at Herbal Touch… 🌿🔥

We lit the fire with the last of our firewood for the season and soaked up one final cosy evening before spring properly takes over.

I’ve been sitting by the fire making little lavender witch brooms, with the scent of lavender everywhere, the bush around us and a couple of local visitors wandering through. 🦘💜

In the background, we’ve been listening to Triple J’s Top 100 Australian songs from last year, which took me straight back to K’gari, when we listened to it live.

Fire. Music. Lavender. Bushland.

Pretty bloody good way to farewell winter, really. 🌿🔥

There is something ancient and beautifully simple about women gathering together. 🌿🔥

Last night, another Herbal Touch women’s circle unfolded beneath the evening sky.

We gathered around the fire, shared herbal tea, worked with ritual and plant wisdom, created flower crowns, sang, laughed, ate together and made space simply to be with one another.

Women of different ages and different seasons of life sat in the same circle, each bringing something entirely her own.

These circles are not about performing, fixing or becoming anything.

They are an invitation to slow down, reconnect, create, listen and remember the value of gathering together.

Thank you to the beautiful women who trusted this space, and to Cath for opening her home and garden to us.

I’ll be sharing details of future Herbal Touch women’s circles soon. 🌸

💛Yesterday I had the privilege of facilitating a private women’s fire circle for Cath Chard Cath and a beautiful group of her friends. 🔥🌿

I’m so grateful to Cath for inviting me into her home and trusting me to create and hold this space for the women she loves.

There is something very different about facilitating a private circle for an existing group of friends. There is already history, connection and care between them, and my role becomes less about creating that bond and more about giving it somewhere to deepen.

We gathered around the fire, worked with herbs and plant wisdom, shared tea and stories, created flower crowns and made space for reflection, laughter and simply being together.

For me, this is such a meaningful part of the work I do through Herbal Touch Bush Clinic. Creating spaces where women can step away from everyday life for a little while, reconnect with themselves, and sit alongside other women without needing to be anything other than who they are.

Thank you Cath, and thank you to every woman who welcomed me into your circle. It was a very special afternoon and evening. 💛
