If you (or someone you know) is living with Type 2 Diabetes and want to level up your Diabetes management, speak to your GP about a Medicare referral for Exercise Physiology.

You may be eligible for an initial consult with an Exercise Physiologist, plus 8 group exercise sessions! This is seperate to the 5 Allied Health visits allocated each year.

Available at River Allied Health, Loxton and Renmark.

Did you know? We offer Medicare-funded Exercise Physiology group sessions for people living with Type 2 Diabetes.

Our specialised sessions combine safe, supervised exercise and education to support better long-term health in a fun and supportive environment.

Eligible patients may receive significant Medicare rebates for 1 initial EP assessment and up to 8 group sessions each calendar year — separate from the usual 5 allied health visits under a chronic condition management plan.

Big news, Loxton! 🙌

We’re thrilled to welcome River Allied Health Exercise Physiology to the Move Well Podiatry space! 🙌

Senior Exercise Physiologist, Damien Crettenden will be consulting in clinic every Tuesday and Thursday from the 14th of April. 🏋️‍♀️🏋️

Damien, now a Loxton local, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in exercise physiology, supporting clients to improve their function, independence and quality of life across a wide range of conditions and personal goals.

Have a look through the flyer below to learn more about how exercise physiology can help you move better and feel stronger. Private clients and all government and third-party funding pathways are welcome, with some pathways requiring a GP referral.
