Shadow work doesn’t have to be scary, hard or overwhelming 😱
It doesn’t have to be digging up all your past trauma and reliving it, time and time again… with little change.
Shadow work is:
The psychological and spiritual practice of exploring the unconscious, repressed, or hidden parts of yourself—known as the "shadow self"—to achieve wholeness, healing, and self-acceptance.
It involves bringing suppressed emotions, traumas, and traits into conscious awareness to stop them from controlling behaviours and to foster deeper authenticity.
Now I know that can sound a bit fluffy, daunting, heavy or like a whole load of b.s. work
But no, it's not! I don't rip up all the past, I lead you forward outta the s**t you're in!
Your shadow isn’t here to hurt you.
It’s here to lead you and show you what needs shifting and healing to free yourself up! 🦅
Re-living your story again and again actually reinforces it in your unconscious mind. The place responsible for 95% of what you do; your behaviours, your reactions.
Re-living those stories lock in the feelings and beliefs that control your life.
And that's fine, if that’s what you want 🤷♀️
But if not… this is where things can change.
Your shadow often shows up as:
• Strong emotional triggers
• Intense judgment of others
• Self-sabotage
• Constant drama or feeling stuck in victim patterns
• Difficulty setting boundaries
and c'mon, be real, we all experience some version of these in our lives 😏
