In Chinese medicine, hair reflects the strength of Blood, Kidney Essence and nervous system stability.

Periods of stress, illness, hormonal shifts or depletion can disrupt the body’s rhythm — and hair is often one of the first things people notice changing.

Within my Self Love Method, the focus is restoring internal rhythm so the body can rebuild from the inside out.

If you’ve been feeling more emotional, anxious, or sensitive over the last few days… you’re not imagining it.

Right now the collective energy is very intense and many people are noticing it in their bodies before they can explain it in their minds.

When emotional pressure builds, the nervous system begins releasing what it has been holding. Old feelings, memories, and patterns can surface. It can feel overwhelming, but it is often part of the body’s natural clearing process.

This is why I always bring things back to the body.

When the nervous system feels unsafe, the mind spirals.
When the body is regulated, clarity returns.

So if things feel heavy right now, focus on the simple foundations:

Warm nourishing foods.
Mineral-rich hydration.
Time outside in sunlight.
Gentle movement and breath.
Earlier evenings and deeper rest.

Rhythm stabilises the nervous system.

The body is the anchor for the mind.

Soft reminder: you don’t have to solve everything today. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is support your body while the emotional waves move through.

Mercury is currently sitting in the heart of the Sun — a moment traditionally called a cazimi. When this happens, awareness can increase. Thoughts, emotions and insights may feel closer to the surface.

Because this one is occurring in Pisces, many people are noticing increased sensitivity in the body as well.

Sleep can feel lighter.
Digestion can shift.
Emotions can rise more quickly.

This isn’t weakness. It’s physiology.

When the nervous system is under pressure, the body doesn’t need more analysis. It needs rhythm.

Warm nourishment.
Midday anchoring.
Gentler evenings.

Stability in the body always comes before clarity in the mind and most people try to solve pressure by thinking harder.

But the body resolves it through rhythm.

The eclipse is not chaos.
It’s compression.

When Saturn and Neptune sit heavy in Pisces, the nervous system feels it first. Sleep shifts. Breath tightens. Digestion slows. Tolerance narrows.

Eclipses illuminate what has already been braced.

This is not a week for dramatic decisions.
It’s a week for containment.

Warm food. Earlier nights. Fewer conversations that drain you. Stabilise the body before you interpret what you’re feeling.

Traditional Ajo Blanco — reworked for digestion and inspired my my beautiful friend

Traditionally served cold, but from a TCM lens I gently warm the base to protect digestive fire….

Still light. Still silky.
Deeply filling 😵‍💫. Protein-rich. Mineral-dense.

Warm White Bean + Almond Ajo Blanco
Serves 4 -6 meal preps or humans

Soup:
• 1 cup blanched almonds (soaked overnight)
• 1 can of organic cooked cannellini beans
• 100g sourdough, lightly soaked in bone broth
• 1 small shallot + 1 garlic clove + 1 leak - softened
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1 tbsp sherry or ACV
• 1½ cups warm water + light bone broth
• 1- 2 tsp sea salt, pinch white pepper

Allow mixture to sit for 3-4 hours then blend until silky, adjust salt + texture with water, serve chilled, warm or room temp (I love all three styles)

Coriander Jalapeño Oil:
• 1 jalapeños, finely chopped
• 1 small shallot, minced
• Handful coriander, esp the stems
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp lime, pinch salt

Mix + let infuse 15 mins. Spoon over soup.

Grounding. Nourishing. Digestive-supportive.
Food is regulation. 🤍 ❤️
