Blurry vision, trouble driving at night, or colours looking duller than usual?

Cataracts are one of the most common age-related conditions and often develop gradually over time, making the changes easy to miss at first.

The good news is there are simple steps to support long-term eye health, including:
• Wearing UV-protective sunglasses
• Eating a healthy, balanced diet
• Avoiding smoking
• Having regular eye checks

If changes in your vision are starting to make daily tasks more difficult, extra support at home can make a real difference.

Most people only see the care worker who visits their home. What they may not see is the dedicated team working behind the scenes to coordinate, review, and support their care.

This International Nurses Day, we’re recognising the nurses who play an important role in supporting safe, responsive and person-centred care at home

Because great care is about more than the visit, it’s about the experienced team supporting you behind it.

What does a good day look like for you or your loved one?
For some, it’s getting out into the garden. For others, it’s a chat over coffee or help with daily routines.

We’re here to support each person’s version of a good day, with care that fits around them.

💙 Looking for the Right Housemate – Help a Gentleman Stay Home 💙

We’re currently seeking a compatible housemate to share a home with a 66‑year‑old gentleman living in a Department of Housing property here in our region.

This gentleman has high care needs and is supported through Supported Independent Living (SIL). His greatest wish is a simple but deeply meaningful one: to remain in the home he has lived in for many years. It’s familiar, it’s safe, and it holds so many memories. Staying there for as long as possible would mean the world to him.

We are hoping to connect with providers who may have a NDIS Participant with 1:2 or 1:3 funding who could be a suitable match to share this home and build a respectful, supportive living arrangement.

This is more than just sharing a house — it’s about preserving dignity, stability, and a sense of belonging for someone who has called this place home for a long time.

If you think you may have a participant who could be a good fit, or if you’d like to know more, we’d love to hear from you.
