•Based in Adelaide I believe in the value of quiet reflective time as a means to restore one to cope with these demands. Without time for restoration, our stressful lives can contribute to poor physical and mental health. I want to provide opportunities for women to rememeber their true worth and to share my learnings to bring balance, calm, joy and laughter into their lives," Mandy Price.

Somewhere along the way, "mum" started meaning "last on the list." đź’›

I know what exhaustion feels like — the kind that doesn't go away with a good night's sleep or a day off, because it's not really about sleep. It's about giving, giving, giving without anyone checking in on the person doing the giving.

This is your permission slip: prioritising yourself isn't selfish. Setting a boundary isn't letting anyone down. Asking for help isn't failure.

I help women move from heaviness back to clarity — and honestly, back to feeling like themselves again. If that sounds like something you need, let's talk.

To the mum scrolling this at 11pm because it's the only quiet moment you've had all day — I see you. 🌙

Burnout doesn't always look like collapsing on the couch. Sometimes it looks like still doing everything, just numb while you do it. Sometimes it looks like snapping and then feeling guilty. Sometimes it looks like forgetting what you even enjoy anymore, because there hasn't been room for it.

Local mums, I'd love to know — genuinely, no judgment in the comments — what does burnout look like for you? 👇

However you answered, know this: support exists close to home, and it doesn't have to be a big, complicated first step. A free 15-minute chat is a good place to start.

A question I get asked: "Where exactly are you based?" 🌿

Welcome to Wellness is set a little away from the hustle and bustle of Aldinga. For a lot of the women I work with, that matters. Not everyone wants to be seen walking into a counsellor's office between the school run and the supermarket. Some just want somewhere quiet to actually breathe.

So the space is private. Peaceful. No one clocking who's coming and going. Just you, a cup of tea, and an hour that's entirely yours.

If you've been putting off getting support because you didn't want it to feel like a big, public thing — this might be exactly the fit you're looking for.

One phrase on my vision board this year simply says...

“Slow Down.”

Not stop.
Not quit.
Not disappear from life.

Just… slow down.

To breathe more deeply.
To notice more.
To listen more carefully.
To feel less rushed through my own life.

What I hear often in counselling is:
“We’re exhausted.”
“We’re constantly busy.”
“We don’t even know the last time we relaxed.”

Modern life moves fast.
Relationships struggle when there’s never space to reconnect.

Sometimes slowing down isn’t laziness.
Sometimes it’s exactly what healing requires.

I often sit with couples carrying invisible weight.

The weight of responsibility.
The mental load.
The pressure to hold everything together.

And underneath it all is usually one simple longing:

“To feel connected again.”

When couples begin slowing down enough to truly hear one another, things can soften.

Not instantly.
Not perfectly.

But gradually.

And that shift can be incredibly powerful.

This is what my garden reminds me daily...

What flourishes is what receives care.

Relationships are no different.

Attention matters.
Time matters.
Small moments matter.

A quick check in.
A shared laugh.
A conversation without phones.
A walk together.
A hug that lasts a little longer.

Healthy relationships are rarely built on grand gestures alone.

More often, they’re built through consistent small moments of connection 🤍

There’s something deeply special about the counselling room.

It becomes a place where people can exhale.

A place where masks come off.
Where emotions can finally be spoken aloud.
Where people begin understanding themselves — and each other — more clearly.

Sometimes people walk in carrying years of stress, hurt or overwhelm.

And slowly, over time, things begin to shift.

That kind of transformation is one of the greatest privileges to witness.

Healing relationships often isn’t about one huge breakthrough.

It’s about new habits.

Listening differently.
Responding differently.
Creating time for one another again.
Learning how to repair after conflict.

It takes willingness.
It takes honesty.
It takes conscious effort.

But I’ve seen couples rediscover warmth, intimacy and appreciation after feeling incredibly stuck.

And that hope matters 🌿

Lately I’ve been finding so much joy in simple things.

Watching plants grow.
Watering the garden in the evening.
Fresh herbs from outside.
Quiet moments without rushing.

Life constantly encourages us to move faster.

But there’s something healing about slowing down enough to actually experience our own lives.

Sometimes people wonder....
“Should we come to counselling now… or wait?”

My honest answer?

Earlier is often easier.

Not because your relationship is failing.
But because it’s far easier to reconnect while love and willingness are still present beneath the stress.

Counselling isn’t about blame.
It’s about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and learning new ways forward together.

If your relationship has been feeling distant, tense or stuck lately, perhaps this is your gentle reminder not to leave it too long 🤍
