We have plenty of opportunities for children to create, explore, learn new skills and spend time doing what they love at Nature & Nurture this Term 4.

🌿 Outdoor Art Playgroup
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:30–11am
Walking to 5 years | Secret Garden, Lovedale

🎨 Youth Art – Art Around the World
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays | Maitland Studio
This term we’ll be exploring art, techniques and inspiration from around the world.

🎉Homeschool Sensory Art Sessions
Thursdays 12.30-1.30pm
Using Cultural festivals from around the world this term we will engage the senses through art and play experiences!

✏️ NEW Drawing Fundamentals Class
Mondays | 4:45–6pm | Ages 7+
A dedicated class for children wanting to develop their drawing skills and techniques.

🖌️ NEW Painting Class
Saturdays | 9:30–11am | Ages 7+
More time to explore painting techniques, colour and creativity.

With classes across our Maitland Studio and Secret Garden in Lovedale, there’s something for little artists right through to older children wanting to develop their skills.

Term 4 places are available to book now via our website. We keep our class sizes small, so we recommend enrolling early to secure your preferred class. 🌿

Two FREE community events, one lovely morning at Nature & Nurture! 🌿💗

On Friday 25th September, we’re opening our Maitland Studio for a morning of connection, community and kindness.

👶 Mums & Bubs Nesting Circle
Come along with your baby, meet other local parents and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, chat and spend the morning together. Choose from 9:30am or 10:45am, with just 15 spots available per session.

♻️ Kindness Exchange | 10am–12pm
Our Art Garden will become a community swap space! Bring along baby or children’s clothes, toys, books or other goodies your family has finished with and swap them with other locals. A simple way to pass things on, find something useful and keep perfectly good items circulating within our community.

Both events are FREE and all about creating opportunities for local families to connect and support one another. 🍃

A little time to slow down, get creative and make something with your own hands. 🤎

Our next Adult Art Class is all about Clay Vases! Spend the evening experimenting with clay, texture and form as you create your own unique piece in our relaxed Maitland studio.

No art experience needed — just come along, switch off for a couple of hours and enjoy creating.

Week 8 at Nature & Nurture 🌿🎨

🌿 Outdoor Art Playgroup
Spring has arrived and we’re embracing this lovely warmer weather at our Secret Garden at Leaves & Fishes! Join us Tuesday or Thursday, 9:30–11am for a relaxed morning of outdoor, process-based art and creative play for little ones. Book via website. Casual passes available.

🏺 Adult Art: Clay Vases
Join us Monday 14 September, 6–8pm for an evening of creativity as we make our own clay vases. Switch off, enjoy some time creating and take home something made by you.

💛 FREE Nesting Circle & Kindness Exchange — 25 September
A special morning created for parents and their babies to slow down, connect and spend time together in a relaxed and welcoming space.

Our Nesting Circle gives parents the opportunity to meet and connect with others while enjoying gentle, meaningful time with their baby. Running concurrently to this special session, we’re also running a Kindness Exchange in our garden, encouraging connection, generosity and kindness within our community with donated books, clothes and items.

It’s completely FREE, and new parents and babies are very welcome! Please book in for the Nesting Circle via our website so we can register your attendance.

🎨 School Holiday Workshops
Bookings are now OPEN! We have a wonderful range of creative workshops planned for the upcoming school holidays. Numbers are kept small, so we recommend booking early if there’s something your child would love.

Plus, our regular Youth Art, Homeschool and school-based programs continue throughout Week 8.

Every child has ideas, stories and a way of seeing the world that is uniquely their own. 🎨

Our Youth Art classes aren’t about everyone creating the same finished piece. We introduce new techniques, materials and processes, then give young artists the space to experiment, make choices and develop their own creative voice.

Designed for primary and high school students, each term brings a new creative focus — with plenty of encouragement along the way.

This term we’re exploring printmaking, and next term we are studying art around the world! Look out for T4 enrolments, they’re coming soon!

Week 7 at Nature & Nurture 🌿🎨

There’s plenty happening as we head towards the end of term, with our regular classes continuing and some special community events just around the corner!

🌿 Outdoor Art Playgroup
Join us Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30–11am at our Secret Garden at Leaves & Fishes, Lovedale. Come along for a relaxed morning of process art, sensory exploration, nature and open-ended play. Casual bookings are welcome.

🎨 Adult Art: Clay Vases – 14 September
A little creative me-time! Join us from 6–8pm at our Maitland Studio to slow down, create and enjoy an evening just for you.

🤍 FREE Nesting Circle & Kindness Exchange – Friday 25 September

Our Nesting Circle is a welcoming morning for mums and babies to connect, enjoy a cuppa, meet other local families and try gentle tummy-time activities, with local providers joining us too. Two one-hour sessions are available, with just 15 places in each.

Alongside it, we’ll be holding our Kindness Exchange from 10am–12pm. Bring along baby and children’s clothes, toys, books or other goodies your family has outgrown and pass them on to another family. You don’t need to bring something to participate — everyone is welcome to come along and take something they can use.

🎨 School Holiday Workshops
The holidays are getting closer! Our creative workshops, nature experiences, gymnastics sessions and full-day camps are all open for booking now.

Our Youth Art, homeschool and school programs also continue throughout the week.

Bookings and event registrations are available via our website. Please phone or email if you need to contact us, as social media messages aren’t always monitored while we’re busy teaching and programming. 🌿
