Support Worker – Empower Ability Support Services

Empower Ability Support Services is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to join our growing team.

We are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support that empowers individuals to live with greater independence, confidence, and dignity within their everyday lives.

📍 Location: Hunter region area

About the Role

This position involves supporting participants with daily living activities and providing meaningful, respectful care tailored to individual needs.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with personal care
• Confident using manual handling equipment including lifters/hoists
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate nature
• Genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals
• Availability for weekend shifts when required

Mandatory Checks & Qualifications

• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Comprehensive car insurance
