Official Statement Regarding the Closure of The Cabin Collective
It is with great regret that we announce the unexpected closure of The Cabin Collective.
The Cabin Collective was established as a multidisciplinary creative space built around tattooing, music, art, and a shared appreciation for coffee and community. The business ceased operations without prior notice on Friday, 28th March. This decision was made unilaterally and without consultation or communication with all directors involved.
At the time of closure, legal discussions regarding the future of the business were ongoing. The sudden shutdown occurred during a period of active negotiations, and without consensus between parties. For several months leading up to this point, one of the directors had been excluded from operational decision-making, which contributed to a breakdown in communication and professional relationships.
The consequences of this closure have affected many—artists, stylists, staff, clients, and collaborators. To all those impacted, we acknowledge the disruption and sincerely regret the circumstances.
To ensure the closure is managed with the professionalism it warrants, liquidators have now been appointed to oversee the process.
