The Australian Government has announced proposed changes aimed at securing the future of the NDIS.

The proposed reforms focus on:
- Fighting fraud and stopping rorts
- Slowing rapid cost increases
- Clearer eligibility requirements
- Delivering quality services and supports to participants

At this stage, current NDIS eligibility and planning arrangements remain unchanged, and participants should continue accessing supports and services as outlined in their existing plans.

You do not need to take any action right now.
As more information becomes available, we'll continue to share updates and support participants to understand what any future changes may mean for them.

For more information about the proposed changes, visit:

June is Pride Month 🌈

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, recognise the importance of inclusion and equality, and acknowledge the ongoing journey towards a world where everyone feels safe, respected and supported for who they are.

It’s also a chance to celebrate diversity, amplify voices, and continue creating communities where people can live authentically and feel a true sense of belonging.

At iCoordinate, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and supported and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all participants, families, staff and communities.

What is reconciliation? 🖤💛❤️

Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.

It’s about learning from our shared history, listening, showing respect, recognising truth, and working together towards a more inclusive future.

Reconciliation also means creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be heard, valued and empowered, not just during National Reconciliation Week, but every day.

Small actions, conversations and a willingness to learn can all play a part in helping build stronger communities and respectful relationships across Australia.

This week marks National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and reflect on how we can all contribute to reconciliation.

This year’s theme, “Bridging Now to Next”, reflects the connection between past, present and future, reminding us that reconciliation is an ongoing journey that requires continued learning, listening and action.

National Reconciliation Week is also an opportunity to recognise the strength, resilience and enduring cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to continue building respectful relationships and communities where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. 🖤💛❤️

Not all Support Coordinators are the right fit for every person and that’s okay.

Choosing a Support Coordinator is about finding someone who understands your needs, communicates in a way that works for you, and helps you feel supported and confident.
Some helpful questions to ask include:

✔️ Have you worked with participants with similar support needs to mine?
✔️ How often will we communicate?
✔️ How will you help me work towards my goals?
✔️ What happens if I need urgent support or want to change services?
✔️ What local providers and community connections do you have?

The right Support Coordinator should feel like someone in your corner, helping you navigate the NDIS and connect with supports that suit you best.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) helps shine a light on the importance of digital accessibility and inclusion, encouraging people to think about how websites, apps, online services and technology can be made accessible for everyone.

Accessibility isn’t just about convenience. It’s about ensuring people can connect, communicate, learn and participate equally in everyday life.

From captions on videos, to screen reader compatibility and easy-to-understand content, small changes can make a huge difference.
