You are warmly invited to attend a 'Town Hall Style' meeting to discuss and help plan this year’s Maleny Christmas Street Festival, to be held on Maple Street on Friday 11 December 2026.

The Chamber is passionate about creating a festival that is truly for Maleny, by Maleny. We welcome your ideas, feedback, suggestions, and input on how we can continue to grow and strengthen this much-loved community tradition.

This Town Hall-style meeting is an opportunity for local businesses, community groups, volunteers, performers, and residents to come together and help shape this year’s event.

WHEN: Wednesday 10 June, 5:30 pm
WHERE: The Verandah Room, Maleny Community Centre, Maple Street

Both include access to exclusive Tuesday evening sessions, 6–9pm — bookings essential (if you don’t book, I go home 🤣), members only, no rush. It’s one of my favourite things we’ve added.

You float in 500 kilograms of Epsom salt dissolved in water.

That’s enough salt to make the water so dense your body floats effortlessly. No resistance. No tension. Fully weightless.

But it’s not just your body that gets to rest.

The water is skin temperature. The space is quiet. There’s nothing to see, nothing to hear, nothing pulling at your attention. For most of us, that kind of stillness is something we’ve never actually experienced — the complete absence of sensory input, all at once.

At Hinterland Float and Wellness, we use open pools — not pods — so there’s no lid, no claustrophobia. Just you, the water, and the quiet.

Your body doesn’t quite know what to do with it at first. Then it remembers how to let go.

Every Tuesday, Hinterland Float and Wellness is open until 9pm. Members only.

I’ve been hearing the same thing from people who wanted to come but couldn’t: ‘I finish work at 5. By the time I’m done with the day, everything’s closed.’

That’s not okay. You deserve to finish your Tuesday resetting the nervous system ready for the week ahead.

Float. Sauna. Salt room. After the school run, after the shift, after whatever Tuesday threw at you — we’re here, every week, until 9pm.
