Like a particular time or place that you do your most profound or even whimsical ponderings?

For me, an apologies in advance if TMI, it would have to be the shower. Where I just wash away the days "crap" and forget the heavy stuff for a while.

The other night I ended up in a fit of giggles because as I was washing my hair, I got to thinking about how women and young ladies would actually use washing their hair as an excuse not to go on a date back in the day...
Could you even imagine that being a thing now?
My mind actually boggles at what process they had that would take them the entire night to do their hair??

So this got me curious. What excuse have you used to not go on a date??
