A little behind-the-scenes of one of the places I work 🤍

Once a month, I have the privilege of providing remedial massage services at Forward4 Physiotherapy in Mango Hill alongside an amazing team of physiotherapists.

One of the things I love most about working in healthcare is being able to collaborate with other practitioners, share knowledge, and help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

I feel incredibly grateful to do work that I genuinely enjoy and to support so many wonderful people in our local community.

These past two weeks have been a mix of mum life and work life 🤍

School holidays meant slower mornings, more time with the kids,
and yes… even a little adventure riding camels 🐪😆

In between that, still seeing clients, still doing what I love.

It’s not always perfectly balanced —
just doing what matters in the moment.

Why “deeper” isn’t always better for your muscles. 🧐

Many clients come in thinking they just need a “deep tissue massage” to fix their tightness. They expect force, thinking that’s the only way to get results.

But yesterday, a new client said something that really hit the mark:
“Your treatment feels more like a myofascial release than just a deep massage.”
And honestly? That makes perfect sense.
It’s about working with the tissue, not against it.
Think of it like a locked door—you don’t always need a bigger hammer; sometimes you just need the right key. My approach isn’t just about applying pressure. It’s about slowing down and listening to how your body responds, allowing the tension to melt away instead of forcing it.

Because not all tightness needs more force. Often, it just needs the right kind of input.
With over 14 years of experience and having previously taught Remedial Massage at a Diploma level, my treatments are a blend of deep clinical knowledge and a hands-on understanding of how the body actually lets go.
