Today, 21 June, marks the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year.
As we move through the cooler months, it’s a timely reminder to look after your health and wellbeing. Winter can bring coughs, colds, flu, asthma flare-ups, changes in mood, lower energy levels and increased risk for people living with chronic health conditions.
Simple steps like staying warm, staying active where possible, washing hands often, and checking in with your GP when symptoms don’t improve can help you stay well this season.
Your GP can also support you with flu vaccinations, preventive health checks, chronic disease management, prescriptions, and advice tailored to your health needs.
Wishing our Mango Hill community a healthy, restful and rejuvenating winter season.
