💙 Supporting Loaves & Fishes in Our Community 💙
A few weeks ago on a Sunny Wednesday we were privileged to welcome Nathan from the Loaves & Fishes Food pantry program. Nathan spoke about the growing need in our community for food.
Many people may not realise that right here in the Mansfield Shire, more than 50 local families are currently receiving support through this wonderful program, and sadly that number continues to grow as the cost of living rises. During the COVID period, Loaves & Fishes supported over 120 families across our community.
Rosehaven is proud to support this important work. We have a community garden to help provide fresh produce. Each week, our Rosehaven community donates food items through the collection box located in Bob’s Shed, and every Wednesday these donations are delivered to Loaves & Fishes for distribution to local families in need.
If you would like to help, donations can be placed in the collection box at Rosehaven, or in the dedicated trolleys located at FoodWorks and IGA.
Every packet, tin, and toiletry item makes a difference. Together, we can help ensure that local families have food on the table and know that their community cares.
