A year ago, I was capturing little newborn cuddles with baby Rhett when John got down on one knee and asked Ash to marry him. 🤍

Fast forward a year, and we finally got around to capturing their engagement session and it was every bit as beautiful as their story.

There’s something really special about photographing these moments through different seasons of life… from new beginnings to forever beginnings.

So excited to celebrate these two properly on their big day next year ✨

So excited to finally share the song titles for my upcoming EP release, Ember. 🤎

Some of these songs were written over 12 years ago, while others are brand new, but every one of them holds a piece of my story and sits very close to my heart. My hope is that when you hear these songs, you might find a little piece of yourself in them too.

Right now, we’re putting the final touches on everything, and I can’t wait to start sharing more about each song and the stories behind them. The first single from the EP will be Ember, and I’m really looking forward to sharing the meaning and writing behind that one soon.

Back in February, I travelled to Springbrook and spent a week at Moko Productions recording in the coolest little forest studio. I got to meet Michael’s beautiful family, the animals, and spend a whole week pulling these songs out of my heart and into the real world.

I absolutely love what we’ve created together. Michael is a musical genius, and I’m so grateful for the way he helped bring these songs to life.

There’s still a lot happening behind the scenes, but I’m excited to finally share this small part with you.
