Embody Inner Harmony- Women’s health full spectrum bodywork.

Hello beautiful women ♥️

I am excited to be returning to providing sessions soon. I will be working out of a room at the Shala in Margaret River (WA), which has such a warm, homely vibe and I am feeling blessed to be working alongside so many wonderful women there sharing the space.

I wasn’t too sure how much I wanted to share on here about my story, but I really want to show up authentically and vulnerably, and not hide my story away. I have been off work for about a year now as I was pregnant through 2025 and I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) where I was very sick and vomiting through my pregnancy and then very sadly my son was full term stillborn. Which has been the most profound initiation into death, grief, pain and feeling I have ever encountered. It has taken me to my edges time and time again and I continue to grow and expand through this intense experience. I feel I am learning to deeply trust the regenerative currents of nature that are us, and all around us: death, rebirth, death, rebirth. I have experienced such a profound reconfiguration as my identity has dissolved, and is being rediscovered everyday through this experience. I feel there has been a deep shedding and I am being shown a more authentic version of myself that is slowly coming to be.

I have been quite inward over the past 7 months and now I am feeling the call to return to work again and be more out in the world. I am feeling more lightness and vibrancy return to my being, and feeling so in awe of Life and very grateful to be here, and ready to be of service to what I love: supporting women, Mothers and babies.
So I am curious to see how this experience has shaped me and shifted my work. I know already that there will be more depth and expansion weaving throughout everything that I offer. Below is a bit more about my work and what I am offering at the moment, please reach out with any questions you may have, or if you would like to book in for a session or discovery call.

I am a Physiotherapist, Craniosacral therapist, Holistic Pelvic Care™ provider and Scar Tissue Remediation therapist.
My work with women is focused around forming a deeper understanding and connection with their physiology, feminine embodiment, nervous system support & mastery, and physically healing imbalances related to the fascial and lymphatic systems of the body. I wish to be a safe and loving guide as women explore ways to take responsibility for their health and support their body to heal and move towards harmony.
I support women at any stage along their journey to form a deeper bond with their feminine physiology, deepen in their knowledge of their feminine energy and to feel the inherent healing genius that is alive within all human beings.

Here is my website and IG account where you can have a deeper dive into all that I offer, and I look forward to hearing from any woman that is feeling resonance with my work.

Forming a relationship with our tissue, touching ourselves, getting to know our body, moving and hydrating our tissue, is key to optimising pelvic health.

I used to do a lot of my own pelvic massage with a wand and recommend that to clients and now I always recommend starting with your own fingers. Getting to know your tissue intimately, getting sensory feedback into your own fingers provides so much more information and connection.

Knowing what hydrated, relaxed, juicy, healthy pelvic tissue feels like is an important feeling to understand.

Or are you feeling granulated, fibrous, dehydrated, rough, tight tissue?
Can you feel when you are bracing and contracting?
Are you able to notice when the muscles are relaxed? Can you even get the muscles to let go?
Can you feel scar tissue and adhesions?
Are there areas of numbness and disconnect?

Pelvic tissue needs our loving touch to feel healthy and responsive. And it's needs touch to create flow through the fascia, blood and lymph. To move the stagnation and congestion that creates inflammation and adhesions.

How we live day to day, the environments we are in, how we are thinking, what we eat, how we think about ourselves/our body, the state of our nervous system will show up in our tissues. And through loving touch and connection we can interact with our tissues, understand them better and learn what they need to thrive.

For our tissues to feel fluid and flow, we need to feel flow in our lives and nervous system.

Prolapse has long been treated as “weak" pelvic muscles, and women are told that they need to do more kegels or get surgery to support their prolapse from getting worse.

THIS IS NOT THE WHOLE STORY 🔥

I see women who have a prolapse, who release the physical and emotional tension stored in the pelvis, and allow the fascia to return the organs into a more optimal position.

As soon as you understand fascia, it makes no sense that the pelvic muscles are somehow propping the organs up from below. You don’t see this anywhere else in the human body- you don’t see the abdominal organs propping each other up when we stand up.

It is the vast, multidimensional, interconnected fascial matrix that supports all organs of the body.

So why have we been conditioned to see women's bodies through this lens?

Is it because we live in a world where the body is seen as a machine with all separate parts that have no connection to one another?

Is it because we live in a system that sees women’s bodies as inherently broken and weak?

Through this mechanical view, we don’t see the body as an intelligent, intricate, interconnected WHOLE being that has a vast communication network (fascia) that supports, nourishes and integrates all systems of the body.

When we reestablish our TRUST with the inherent genius of the body, we see that it is constantly working along with us, nourishing us & supporting us to find balance in the body.

In regards to prolapse, I see it as a sign that there is tension through the fascial matrix. The body is indicating to us that the fascia is being pulled in a direction, likely down towards the pelvic muscles where there is tension or scar tissue.

Prolapse involves looking into the quality of the body’s tissues, the nervous system, emotional & hormonal health, our relationships, work, creativity, joy.

This involves diving deep into where the body is in habitual tension, holding, bracing, protection, defence, stress & overwhelm patterns.

To narrow prolapse down to doing kegels is dishonouring the complex, intricate, intelligent system that the whole body is.

Prolapse is a call home to the body & heart, she is calling for deeper listening ❤️

Wrapping up my first in-person Non-Linear Movement Method class today I felt so many wonderful emotions. Excited, relieved, fulfilled, creative, thankful and proud!

So thankful to the women who came along to explore their internal landscape, gain a deeper understanding of their nervous system and tune into their world of sensation.

It's not always an easy process being with the body. We can't know what it's going to feel like until we are there, feeling it. So it takes courage and devotion to continue to return to the body even in the face of potentially some unpleasant sensations.

Non- linear is such a wonderful process of exploration and discovery. At its heart, it is an inquiry into the whole self, and a time to move towards trust in the body's inherent capacity to regulate and find balance.

Just like we heal a wound on our skin, digest food, grow and birth a baby, grow hair and finger nails, our body knows exactly how to regulate our emotions, nervous system and energy. Sometimes our mind can take over to run the show without listening to the body's language of sensation.

Non-linear is a time to listen to the body and notice what arises in that inquiry process. And a time to unify our mind and body through movement.

Feeling pumped to continue holding classes in person in Margaret River every Sunday and live online on Wednesday mornings!! More info is in my bio and on my website ❤️

If you are feeling called to come and drop into sensation, feel your body, regulate your nervous system, it will be great to see you in class 😊

⚘️ Caesarean Scars ⚘️

Working with mothers to transform and integrate their caesarean scars is such a beautiful part of my work with women.

Layers of skin, muscle, fascia, organ, blood vessels, lymph vessels, nerves are cut through creating layers of scar tissue that takes at least a year to fully heal. This is major surgery, and the body needs to be cared for through this time.

Sometimes in a session it may be the first time someone else has lovingly caressed their scar. Sometimes it is the first time they have touched their scar. Feeling the healing warmth from their own hands permeate deep into their tissues.

It is common for women to feel disconnected from their body after a caesarean. It can feel like parts of their body are living in a hazy, numb ocean that they can't quite sense into fully.

Lower back pain, sacrum pain, incontinence, headaches, pelvic muscle tension, digestive changes are all very common and can create further disconnect.

Lovingly tending to their scars is one of the most precious moments. Witnessing the power of the intelligence female bodies hold to heal.

Through gentle touch the tissues can unwind their holding on, their bracing and contraction. Listening to the body, guided by the tissues.

Women who receive regular scar bodywork or tend to their own scars regularly see large spectrum of improvements including:
Improved creativity, libido, energy and mood.
Improved incontinence and prolapse symptoms.
Improved digestion and less bloating.
A greater level of presence and embodiment.
Hormonal changes.
Reduced back pain, sacrum and tail bone pain.
Improved menstrual cycle and fertility.
Reduced headaches.
The list goes on.

Really we are supporting the body into harmony and FLOW so it can function optimally with ease. The body knows what to do when it's given the right ingredients.

It is not an easy journey for most women as it effects many systems of the body. Symptoms can be seemingly unrelated but things start to shift massively as the scar tissue starts to soften, integrate and transform ❤️

Last year at the end of May I had the pleasure and privilege to attend a workshop with Naoli Vinever, a traditional Mexican midwife. It has taken me a while to integrate such a potent experience. The weekend was filled with so much magic oozing from all the sisters. Gathering with other women who all share the same passion and drive for this line of work. We are also the ones who hold so much for our community, friends and families, we are the ones usually giving from our hearts and hands to support, nurture, and nourish. It was so beautiful to be able to receive, and to also give to those who give so much. I could feel my nervous system recalibrating over the weekend to allow the support and nurturing from my sisters.

Naoli’s depth of knowledge and her space holding was on another level. I was deeply inspired by her spirit, leadership, and her fiercely loving and open heart.

The Mexican postpartum tradition that we were taught was absolutely incredible. The main thing that I took away from the teachings was how much the traditions uphold and understand the energetic aspects of our humanity and how those aspects will play out in our birth, our postpartum and beyond if not tended to.

Naoli spoke of cold vs warmth in the body, which I understand as stagnation vs flow. The ritual is all about transforming the cold, bringing in more warmth, and returning to flow. Moving through a process of hot stone massage, steaming, sweating, and finishing with the containment from the Closing of the Bones ritual, women are nurtured through an inward journey as they usher in their next phase of life.

The energetic aspects of our being, in my understanding, is a lot of who we are and how we are. The trauma we have experienced, the tension patterns that are stored in our body, the myofascial constrictions, our own birth, menstrual cycle history, birth trauma, sexual trauma, all of this is stored in our body, and it impacts our nervous system health, which is our whole body health.

I am so excited to announce my first online masterclass event- Scar Tissue Transformation 😊

I am going to be diving deep into the anatomy of scar tissue, and how scar tissue effects the many systems of the body, and physical techniques that we can utilise to transform our scar tissue into more free flowing, supple, dynamic tissue!

I will also be going into the energetic and emotional aspects of fascia and scar tissue which are often ignored or misunderstood aspects, and which can be a big reason why tissue will remain stuck and constricted.

Scar tissue is never what is just on the surface of the skin, it runs deep and as it heals it hardens and constricts, and it effects the large web of fascia that runs throughout the entire body. This means that a caesarean scar over the abdomen can effect the jaw, cranial bones, lower back and even down to the feet!

This is why scar tissue has become one of my biggest passions as I have been working with Mothers over the years I realised very quickly that there is no where near enough information or education out there, and that majority of the time Mothers are sent off after having surgery, without any after care and only realising that the scar tissue needed specific care and attention years down the track when issues arise.

So within this masterclass we will be covering the ways you can be with and tend to your scar with the love and attention it requires.

Tending to our fascia network and scar tissue is a beautiful way to restore balance and lightness in to the body. Reducing the feelings of stagnation and constriction.

So if you are ready to take a deep dive into scar tissue, learn ways to transform and integrate your scar tissue and feel more deeply connected to your body, join me on the 13th of June at 6pm AEST (4pm AWST) 😊

There is more information on my website- follow the link in my bio linktree and please feel free to ask any questions you may have! ❤

Hello insta peeps :) what an epic start to the year. I can feel this one is going to be a big one. Yay let's goooo!

I've been back home in Margaret River visiting family for the last month, it has been such a deeply nourishing time. Feeling my body regulating after such a busy 2023 and allowing myself to settle into how restorative slowing down can truly be.
It's actually been a bit of a challenge allowing my self to surrender into rest and doing less, and I am in constant reflection about all the newly postpartum mothers who are constantly reminded to slow down and rest and how hard this must be. I'm glad to be practising now 😊

Big exciting changes are happening in 2024! Updates soon to come.

May you all have a year filled with love, joy and continuing to deepen in self love and trust ❤️
