TATTOO COVR UP
Nadia came to me asking if I could fix her 18-year-old tattoo.
At first, I said yes, of course! I could rework it.
But the more I looked at it, the more I felt it was unbalanced and for me the best option was to keep the subject while completely redesigning it to create a better version of what she originally wanted.

We had a few consultations, exchanged different ideas, and in the end she trusted me 100%, saying: “Do what you think will work best.”

Sick! That’s exactly what every tattoo artist wants to hear. BUT….
doing a cover-up is always stepping into the unknown. You never fully know how it’s going to look until you’re on it, because the design has to work with what’s already underneath.
THE TATTOO CAN NOT DISAPPEAR (I’m not a magician 🥸)
but you have to carefully use light, dark, and flow to follow the old tattoo while creating something new.

So, a big thank you to Nadia for the total trust and tbh I’m really happy of how this turned out.
