Fluid Flow Pilates and Yoga with Maria Movement as medicine and meditation 🩵Certified Prana Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates teacher 🧜🏼‍♀️Co-founder of Tonic Pilates Collective

Fluid Flow is a result of more than 15 years search and experience of different styles of yoga and pilates. Fluid is the best word that describes the way I teach...smooth transitions and constant flow. I combine yoga and pilates, because I think they complement each other, like yin and yang...movement with control in pilates and freedom and openness in yoga. For me its beyond exercise, its a refle

ction of the way I look at life...a constant flow of energy, a constant movement, change...Like the waves of a gentle ocean..coming in and out of tide.

The New Moon is a beautiful invitation to pause, turn inward and create a little space for ourselves. 🌑

This Virgo New Moon invites us to look at the little things that make up our everyday lives — how we care for ourselves, the routines we create, what we give our energy to and the choices we make each day. It is a beautiful time for a little refinement, a little clearing and coming back to what genuinely nourishes us.

My regular Thursday yoga class happens to fall right on the New Moon, and it felt too perfect not to honour it with something a little more intentional.

I would love for you to join me, whether yoga is already part of your life or you are simply feeling called to slow down and try something new. No experience is needed — just come as you are.

We will begin by pulling an oracle card, setting intention and opening ourselves to whatever wants to emerge in this new cycle. From there we will move into a deep, embodied Lunar Prana Vinyasa practice — slow, nourishing and spacious, giving us time to breathe, feel, soften and reconnect. A little space to simply be, together.

POST-ECLIPSE SELF-CARE

Whether you are into astrology or not, you may have noticed that things have felt a little… intense lately.

The energy around a Full Moon and Eclipse can feel amplified. Things beneath the surface can suddenly feel louder, and maybe you have noticed it too — so many people seem to be moving through big changes or feeling a little more on edge than usual.

Even though the Eclipse has passed, we may still feel its ripples. What has been stirred up can take time to move through us.

I have always believed that we are not meant to hold everything in. Sometimes we need to move things so they can be released — not analyse them, fix them or find the right words for them. Just allow them to move.

And that is the intention of Somatic Ecstatic. Somatic Ecstatic Margaret River

A space where we can step away from the noise, let go of expectations and simply move. No choreography, no performance and no right or wrong way to do it.

Just music, breath, movement and the freedom to listen to what feels good.

Sometimes we move gently. Sometimes we shake it all out. Sometimes we dance wildly. Sometimes we find stillness.

All is welcome.

Consider this your post-eclipse self-care. 🌀

THE ESSENCE OF SPACE

I have been contemplating space lately.

How often, when we find a little space in our lives, our first instinct is to fill it.

Another plan.
Another experience.
Another thing to do.
Another layer to add.

But when we constantly fill the space, do we lose the quality of the space itself?

Space has something to offer us.
It holds possibility.
It gives us room to breathe, to wonder, to create, to simply be.

In fact, space holds endless opportunities — but only if we allow it to remain open.

We do this with experiences too. We think we need to offer more, add more, make it bigger, richer, more interesting.

But sometimes, in adding more, we lose the essence of what is already there.

Like food with too many spices and too many ingredients. It fills you up, but with so much competing for your attention, you can’t truly savour the flavour. You finish the meal feeling full, but somehow you don’t remember what you tasted. The flavour doesn’t stay with you.

Maybe experiences are the same.

Maybe we don’t always need more.

Maybe we need space to feel.
Space to breathe.
Space to notice.
Space to let something land.

Because it is often in the space between things that we discover what really matters.

And perhaps less isn’t less at all.

Perhaps less gives us the space to experience more deeply.

To actually taste the flavour.
To feel the texture.
To be present enough to receive what is already here.

Maybe the essence doesn’t need to be added to.
Maybe it simply needs space to be felt. 🌀 captured on retreat with 🪷 Yoga Movement Meditation by 📷 Angela Kaja Ferro | Photographer

♾️WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE LET THE BODY MOVE? ♾️

For many of us, dancing can bring up a little resistance.

We might feel self-conscious, unsure of what to do, or believe we need something outside of ourselves to loosen up and let go.

But what if we could access that freedom from within?

Ecstatic dance invites us to step out of the thinking mind and into the body.

To breathe.
To listen.
To move without choreography.
To let the body express what words sometimes cannot.

And when we surrender to movement, something begins to shift.

We feel more.

We breathe deeper. We soften. We open. We become more present in our own skin.

What was held can begin to move, and what felt stuck can begin to flow.

Perhaps the dance we resist is sometimes the dance we need most.💎

Maybe you don’t need to lose yourself to dance.
Maybe you need to come home to yourself.

Some moments in life feel like a full circle. ⭕️

Usually, I am the one travelling to be with my teacher, 🪷 Yoga Movement Meditation — to receive, to practice, to listen, to learn and to immerse myself in teachings that have profoundly shaped my journey.

And now, for the very first time, I get to welcome her to Margaret River.

There is something incredibly special about bringing your teacher to your own home, your own community, your own little corner of the world.

Delamay has been my teacher, mentor and siSTAR for many years and, as one of Shiva Rea senior students and teachers, she carries a depth of wisdom, experience and embodied understanding that has deeply influenced my own path.

Prana Vinyasa has taken me on a journey far beyond the mat — across the world, into different practices, teachings and experiences, and ultimately deeper into myself. Delamay has been an important part of that journey, continually reminding me to stay curious, to feel, to listen and to trust the intelligence of the body.

So to now bring her here, to share her teachings in Margaret River, feels incredibly meaningful. A little surreal. And very much like a full-circle moment. 🌀

As we move from the stillness of winter towards Spring, this weekend is an invitation to move, breathe, explore, soften and reconnect with the energy and aliveness within.

And if you haven’t experienced Prana Vinyasa before, this is a beautiful opportunity to be introduced to this dynamic, fluid and deeply embodied approach to yoga — and to receive directly from one of the teachers who has helped carry this lineage forward.

Join us for a single offering or immerse yourself in the full weekend.
Early Bird bookings are now open. Details in link in bio.

I feel so grateful to be able to bring my teacher here, to share a little of what has meant so much to me, and to experience this beautiful weekend together. I hope you will join us 🪷🌀🧘‍♀️💃

♾️THE DANCE CONTINUES ♾️

I am still feeling our first Somatic Ecstatic Dance Journey in my body…
The energy, the connection, the freedom, the joy.

And after the beautiful feedback we received, it felt so natural to open the space again.

Because when we move together, something shifts.

We soften.
We release.
We breathe a little deeper.
We remember that we don’t always have to think our way through everything.

Sometimes we just need to move.

To listen to the body.
To follow the rhythm.
To let go.
To play.

No choreography.
No performance.
Just music, movement and the freedom to be exactly where you are.

The dance continues… 🌀

Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, it has brought me joy, helped me through challenges, connected me with incredible people, and reminded me, time and time again, of the wisdom our bodies hold.

For a long time, I have been wanting to create a space where others could experience that too.

Not a dance class.
Not a performance.
Just a welcoming space to move, breathe, let go, and reconnect with yourself.

That space has become Somatic Ecstatic.

It feels like a journey to have arrived here, yet the invitation is beautifully simple.

Come as you are.
Move in your own way.
Let your body speak its own language.

If this resonates with you, I would love to welcome you this Saturday.

Sharing this beautiful message I received from a long-term yoga student… not as part of a marketing plan or a sales pitch, but as a testament to how incredible this practice truly is.

A testament to why I do what I do… and how deeply rewarding it is to feel that the essence of the practice has been received — beyond the physical, and into our lives, into our whole being.

To acknowledge those who keep showing up — committed, patient, open…
softening over time, allowing the practice to move through them.

Unfolding gently… like a blooming lotus. 🪷🌀🌊
