Hey everyone, here’s a little reflection on what feels like another huge year of tattooing for me. As always, the real heart of this isn’t the art alone—it’s the people I’ve met along the way. This industry has given me so many incredible connections, and that remains the absolute best part of what I do.
Over the past year I’ve heard some truly inspiring stories from clients who have faced overwhelming grief, loss, and hardship. Despite it all, they’ve shown up with kindness, courage, and a deeper sense of compassion for others. Their journeys have reminded me what this work is really about: human connection, healing, and showing up for each other when it matters most.
I also want to take a moment to acknowledge a friend and fellow artist who’s leaving the industry— . Cory, it’s been an honor to work with you. You’ve been not only a brilliant artist but the cornerstone of our little studio family here. Your presence pushed us to be better, and your creativity inspired everyone around you. You will be incredibly missed, and I wish you all the best in whatever you choose to pursue next. I know you’ll soar in everything you do.
To everyone who’s trusted me with their stories and their bodies this year—thank you. Your bravery, your openness, and your faith in what we do together mean more than words can say. Here’s to another year of art, growth, and connection. If you’re thinking about starting a piece or just want to share a moment, I’m here and grateful for it all.
