🌀 With the likely possibility of Tropical Cyclone Alfred making landfall on Thursday, March 6th, now is an important time for local Redcliffe residents to prepare and understand the additional steps that can be taken in the potential event of significant rainfall, damaging winds, abnormal high tides and flash flooding.
️⃣ Understand Your Risk – Check out your local disaster dashboard to stay informed of your local risks and stay in the loop with official alerts from the Bureau of Meteorology.
️⃣ Make a Plan – Keep your plan up to date so everyone in your household knows their role. Check your emergency kit, secure loose items around your home, and speak with your family and household about what you’ll do in the event of storms, or other severe weather.
️⃣ Pack a Kit – Check your emergency kit before your next trip to the shops and replace items you may need.
️⃣ Don't forget your pets
