New data out today shows that in 2024-25, urinary tract infections (UTIs) were responsible for 91,700 acute potentially preventable hospital admissions nationally.

In Victoria, trained community pharmacists have already delivered more than 43,000 treatments to women for uncomplicated UTIs - improving access to primary care and helping keep patients out of hospital.
