I know this because it happened to me.
When I first moved to Australia, I couldn’t speak English.
For months, I stayed in the shadows and watched the other kids play together while I hid in the library, embarrassed that I didn’t have any friends.
I knew I was the odd one out, and there was no way of hiding how different I looked and sounded to everyone else.
But I didn’t know how to make myself belong.
Maybe you felt it too when you were always the last one picked for team sports because you had the coordination of a baby giraffe.
Or when your best friend ditched you in Grade 3 the moment the cool new girl arrived and fell in love with her glittery pink shoes.
Whatever happened, some part of you may have decided then and there ➡️
I will NEVER be rejected, abandoned or made to feel like I’m not enough, ever again 😤
So you became exceptional.
You collected degrees, qualifications and certifications – including more than a few that are now collecting dust.
You learned how to achieve incredible success with your business, to sell like a boss and launch like a beast.
Because really, there was never another alternative.
You became such a force to be reckoned with, that no one could overlook you.
But no amount of success can heal the part of you that still remembers what it felt like not to be chosen.
So the goalposts keep moving 🥅
You snuck in another credential
Another sales milestone..another sold-out launch.
All the while hoping that another level of success will finally make you feel safe, validated and ENOUGH.
But success was never designed to do that job.
The real shift happens when you meet the wound at the root, release the emotional charge it still carries, and stop needing your success to prove that you are chosen.
This is also why, in my work as a Psychic + Divine Business Channel, I help women uncover the deeper wound or pattern sitting underneath the success they’ve built → so they can stop using achievement to prove they are worthy of being chosen.
If this resonated, share this with a wildly successful woman who still needs to hear that she has always been enough 🌹
