My name is Jo and I am a Holistic Counsellor, Kinesiologist and Neurofeedback Practitioner. I've been in the health & wellness industry for 10 years now and recently was blessed with an opportunity to bring toge

ther a team of incredible practitioners. All of our practitioners have come together consciously and with a like-minded view to share and grow their profession and passion. More about the services we provide....

Kinesiology:

Kinesiology is a holistic approach to health & wellness that uses a combination of ancient eastern energetic healing techniques with western physiological sciences to identify structural, chemical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual imbalances in the body. Being a client centered approach to healthcare, the gentle art of muscle-monitoring is used to identify stressors and imbalances in our physical & emotional body, much of which resides in our sub-conscious. Using muscle-monitoring as a biofeedback tool allows practitioners to then apply healing techniques to balance the system as a whole and restore the body’s natural ability to heal. The practitioner is the facilitator to the clients own healing, empowering individuals on their own life enhancing journey. Neurofeedback:

NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback is an extraordinary neuro-technology system that you can now access through our licensed practitioners and within the therapeutic setting. Used independently or in conjunction with Kinesiology and/or Counselling, it will further enhance sessions by detecting and monitoring changes in cortical patterns, and then ‘trains the brain’ (a bit like a PT coach) to fire optimally. Dharma Healing and Mindfulness Counselling:

Buddha Dharma and Mindfulness Counselling is not so much a model that one can just apply, but more of an attitude and approach that one can embody for self-study, and to assist those on a path of physical, emotional & spiritual development. The Buddha Dharma emphasizes the understanding of yourself - know yourself - thus the Buddha Dharma education is a practice of self-inquiry that leads you on a journey toward self-realization.

The Richards Trauma Process or TRTP™:

TRTP™ is an elegantly simple, yet comprehensive, step-by-step process which resolves extreme trauma and trauma-related issues – anxiety, depression, fears and phobias. It achieves results quickly, effectively and safely.

It is a truly eclectic therapy. It is a very structured, yet dynamic process. It includes components of Gestalt, Mindfulness, Ego-state Therapy, Choice Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Parts Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dream Rehearsal Therapy and others.

Shadow Psychology and Inner Child Integration:

The study of the unconscious/subconscious mind. (Think Jung). The aim is to reveal the blocks, beliefs and unhealed wounds that an individual holds in the unconscious mind. The idea is once revealed it can be explored and treated using appropriate healing techniques. Psychoanalysis is rooted deeply in both the Buddha Dharma philosophy and Holistic Counselling model. There are numerous therapies and treatments available that provide a framework for exploring the unconscious, subconscious realm (including TRTP - see above), and it is very effective when used in conjunction with a body-based technique such as Kinesiology.

Core to healing and growth is this shadow work and integrating the inner child. It is possibly the most profound process an individual can do. It will literally unlock every negative aspect, and offers deep healing and integration, resulting in a balanced sense of self, deeper understanding of who you are, and is key to an expanded, rich and wholesome life. If who you are, and who you thought you’d be feels miles apart, then shadow work may be for you. The combination of Kinesiology, Neurofeedback, Naturopathy & Counselling creates a gentle yet powerful opportunity that can support individual’s goals of healing while teaching clients mindfulness techniques and simple yet effective resources that empower clients leading to long term positive changes. Added extras:

We stock a range of organic products to nurture both your inners and your outers and will regularly post and review items that you can purchase directly from Pure Soul Wellness. Being consciously aware of what we put in and on our bodies is a fundamental principle we greatly encourage our clients to engage in and has been one of the core foundations in our own personal growth!

In a world that encourages us to keep going, slowing down can sometimes feel uncomfortable.

But taking time to rest isn't giving up or falling behind. It's giving your mind and body a chance to recover.

Healing doesn't always happen through big changes. Sometimes it starts with the small things, taking a walk, getting outside, slowing your breathing, or simply giving yourself permission to pause.

What's one thing that helps you slow down and reset?

Stress can affect much more than our thoughts and emotions.

When stress builds up over time, the body can also start responding physically. You might notice changes in digestion, bloating, poor sleep, fatigue, brain fog, or feeling more run down than usual.

Because these symptoms can slowly become part of everyday life, it's easy to overlook the connection.

Supporting wellbeing isn't only about managing stress mentally, it's also about creating opportunities for the body and nervous system to slow down and recover.

Have you ever noticed stress affecting your digestion or energy levels?

It's easy to feel motivated and want to change everything all at once, but that can also be hard to maintain long term.

Often, it's the smaller things we do regularly that make more of a difference over time.

Things like drinking enough water, moving your body, getting outside, slowing down, or taking moments to rest may seem small, but they all add up.

Progress doesn't have to be perfect to still be progress.

What's one small habit you've been trying to stay consistent with?

A lot of people put pressure on themselves to have the "perfect" wellness routine, but it doesn't have to be all or nothing.

Some days you might have time for a walk, movement, meal prep and self-care. Other days it might simply be drinking enough water, getting some fresh air, or slowing down for a few minutes.

Small things still matter.

Looking after yourself isn't about getting everything right every day, it's about finding habits that fit into your real life and showing up where you can.

What's one simple thing that helps you feel your best?

It's easy to feel like being healthier means changing everything at once.

But long-term health is usually built through small things that become part of everyday life.

Simple habits like getting outside, drinking more water, moving your body, slowing down, and giving yourself time to rest can add up more than we realise.

If your mind is constantly busy but you're still somehow exhausted… you're not alone, and you're not broken.

That's a completely fine place to start from.

Swipe through if any of this sounds familiar. And if it does, feel free to reach out. No pressure, just a conversation.

Nobody's going to pull you aside and say "hey, you look like you're struggling" when you're still answering emails and making dinner and holding it all together on the outside.

But you know.

That low-grade exhaustion that won't shift. The feeling that you're doing life but not really living it. The way small things are hitting harder than they should.

That's your body and nervous system asking for some support, not a sign you need to push through harder.

We work with a lot of people who look completely fine from the outside. Kinesiology, acupuncture, counselling, sauna and red-light therapy… depending on what you need, we'll figure it out together.

If something's feeling off, feel free to reach out or book in. No big commitment, just a conversation.

We often think stress only shows up as feeling anxious or mentally overwhelmed, but it can show up physically too.

Sometimes it looks more like constantly feeling tired, struggling to focus, getting headaches, carrying tension in your shoulders or jaw, poor sleep, or feeling like you need coffee just to get through the day.

The tricky part is these things can slowly become part of everyday life, and after a while we stop noticing them and assume it's just normal.

Sometimes taking a step back and paying attention to what your body has been trying to tell you can be really helpful.

Can you relate to any of these?

If you've ever heard of Neurofeedback and thought, "what actually happens during a session?" you're definitely not the only one.

A lot of people are surprised to find out it's actually a pretty relaxing experience.

Small sensors are placed on the scalp and ears to monitor brainwave activity while you sit back and relax and listening to the music playing in the background. The sensors don't put anything into your brain, they simply monitor activity and provide feedback to help support healthier patterns over time.

People often explore Neurofeedback to support things like focus, sleep, stress, emotional wellbeing, and nervous system health.

Have you tried Neurofeedback before, or is it something you've been curious about?

A lot of people think wellness has to take up a lot of time, but it really doesn't.

Sometimes it's the simple things that help the most, drinking more water, getting outside for a few minutes, taking a short walk, slowing your breathing, or putting on music that helps you feel calmer.

You don't need to completely change your routine overnight. Small things done consistently can make a bigger difference than people realise.

What's one simple habit that helps you feel calmer or more grounded?
