The darkest season of my life taught me something I’ll never forget.
How much we are all capable of and I mean ALL of us when we are willing to fully face ourselves and do the work and that’s exactly why I believe so deeply in people’s ability to rebuild.
Because I’ve lived it.
My daughter was so unwell, running a business, my marriage ended, selling the home we built to raise our family, no money, raising my kids, deeply betrayed by someone close to me whilst being told repetitively ‘you will be nothing’. I’ll never forget the day a solicitor said to me ‘Amy it’s all gone’. How much more could I take.
This is why I’m optimistic, this is why I believe so much in human beings. I’ve seen how capable they are when life asks more of them than they ever thought they could give. I’ve learned that strength isn’t measured by how much we can suppress, avoid or push down while pretending we’re okay.
The strength to rebuild is having the courage to face ourselves, to own our patterns, to tell ourselves the truth, to stop abandoning ourselves.
And then to rebuild.
because we know we’re capable of something more.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding right now, I created a free 15 minute REBUILT video to help you understand where to start.
Comment REBUILD or send a private DM with the word REBUILD and I’ll send it to you.
