We’re proud to be supporting 2 Excel teams as preparations wrap up for Round 2 of the QRDC at Queensland Raceway.

The team has been hard at work in the shed this week making sure everything is ready to hit the track tonight. From workshop prep to race-day support, it’s great to see the dedication that goes into grassroots motorsport.

Best of luck to the driver and crew this weekend. We’ll be cheering you on from pit lane.

Love motorsport but sometimes need a breather from the noise, crowds and constant action?

We get it.

This weekend at Queensland Raceway, the Wheelnutz Lounge is here for anyone who needs a bit of respite while still staying connected to the event.

Whether you’re autistic, have sensory sensitivities, support someone who does, or just need a quieter place to reset, you’re welcome to drop in.

Grab a bottle of water, take a seat, have a chat, or simply hang out for a while before heading back out to enjoy the racing.

Motorsport should be something everyone can be part of, in a way that feels safe, comfortable and supported.

If you’ve got a young one who loves watching the motor racing at home, this weekend is the time to introduce them to live grassroots motorsports.

It’s a massive weekend planned at Queensland Raceway, Willowbank. Round 2 of the QRDC Excels starts tonight and tomorrow as well as All GM day today and Cruise the night tonight.

Tips: bring headphones if sensitive to noise, bring a jacket ( it might be windy and a little chilly), bring your favourite snacks and water, and if you need some respite from the noise and action, drop by our garage (look for The big Wheelnutz sign)

It’s the reason that Wheelnutz Garage is only in Qld ( well that, and no rich mogul has come and throw a lot of money at us to open elsewhere😉).
