Hinged doors garner all the attention, so we get this question a lot:

"What about the big sliding door out the back?" 🤔

Yep, we do those too.

The main 1 here wraps a corner patio, so the glass doors can open right up without letting the flies in. The others are single sliders out to the backyard.

Worth being straight about what these are. Diamond Grille is a safety screen, not a certified security screen. What you get is a solid physical barrier and a strong visual deterrent.

About 2 weeks at the moment from measure to install, and 15 standard colours to choose from. 🎨

A front door gets opened and shut thousands of times a year. Every open and shut relies on the lock, barrel, hinges, frame, and mesh doing their job. 🚪

Both doors here are hinged Supa Shield™. Clear Anodised on the left, Pearl White on the right, same build on each.

The mesh is SP83, a hybrid of 304 and 316 stainless steel. The 304 does the rigidity, the 316 handles the salt and humidity. Our Hook-Clamp procedure holds it in the frame, with a rubber insulation barrier between the mesh and the aluminium.

Triple locks on both, so 3 locking points instead of 1. Measured to fitted in around 3 weeks.

There's usually 1 door that gets used far more than the rest. 🚪

A Diamond Grille safety screen door is $463 fitted for an opening no larger than 864W × 2114H, usually $545. That's a 15% saving, with GST, installation, triple lock and a lock guard all in the price rather than added at the quote.

There are 15 standard colours, or a custom powder-coat at extra cost if none of them suit the house.

Around 2 to 3 weeks from measured to fitted, or closer to 3 for a powder-coat job. Anything larger than that opening size is quoted per job. The measure and quote is free either way, so nothing to lose if you're in the market.

This 1 got a Diamond Grille safety screen, face-fitted over the opening sash. The fixed pane stays clear, so the room keeps its light and its view, and there's standard fibreglass mesh behind the insert, so the breeze still gets through and the insects don't.
