Every conversation matters. Especially the hard ones.

It's National Child Protection Week, and this year's theme asks us to turn conversation into action.

In a health setting, that action often starts small. A check-up where something doesn't quite add up. A quiet word at reception. A question a parent takes three appointments to finally ask.

Our practitioners are trained to notice, to listen without rushing, and to know what to do next. Nobody here will make you feel silly for raising something.

If you are worried about a child, yours or someone else's, you don't have to be sure before you say something.

REGISTER NOW!! If you've been looking for a different approach to therapy, come and check out The Neuro Nest! πŸ’™

Whether you're looking for support for your child, teenager, young adult or yourself, we'd love to show you what makes our space so different.
This isn't your typical therapy clinic. We've created a neuroaffirming environment where people feel safe, accepted and genuinely enjoy coming to therapy. Our approach focuses on emotional regulation, connection and wellbeing through interests, play, meaningful relationships and evidence-informed supports, not trying to change who someone is.

Imagine therapy that doesn't feel like therapy. A place where people don't dread appointments but actually look forward to them. A place where they can truly be themselves.

Alongside our 1:1 therapy, we also offer a range of social groups and programs designed to foster confidence, connection and belonging in a safe and supportive environment.

If you're a parent, carer, participant, support coordinator, teacher or provider, we'd love you to come along to one of our Open Days, meet our amazing team, explore the space and see what The Neuro Nest is all about.

Come and see why we call it a neurodivergent haven. We'd love to meet you! πŸ’™

Happy NAIDOC Week 2026 πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

This NAIDOC Week, we proudly celebrate 50 Years of Deadly.

The 2026 theme recognises 50 years of honouring the strength, resilience, achievements and enduring cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In First Nations communities, the word "deadly" is a celebration of excellence, strength, pride and beauty. It is a tribute to the Elders, leaders, artists, advocates and communities who have shaped the NAIDOC movement and continue to leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

At The Health Hub, we recognise that health and wellbeing extend far beyond physical health. They are deeply connected to culture, identity, family, community and Country.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we provide our services and pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present. We honour the knowledge, wisdom and cultural practices that have supported the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for tens of thousands of years.

NAIDOC Week provides an opportunity to reflect, learn and celebrate while reaffirming our commitment to providing care that is respectful, culturally safe and centred around the individual. We know that meaningful healthcare begins with listening, building trust and recognising the unique strengths, experiences and goals of every person.

As we celebrate 50 Years of Deadly, we honour the past, celebrate the present and look towards a future where everyone has access to safe, inclusive and compassionate healthcare.

Happy NAIDOC Week 2026.

Today, The Health Hub acknowledges National Sorry Day, a day of reflection, remembrance and recognition.

We honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families, communities and cultures as part of the Stolen Generations, and we acknowledge the deep and ongoing impact this trauma continues to have on individuals, families and communities today.

National Sorry Day is an important opportunity to listen, learn and reflect on our shared history while recognising the strength, resilience and enduring cultures of First Nations peoples. It is also a reminder of the importance of truth-telling, compassion, connection and healing.

At The Health Hub, we believe healthcare and wellbeing should always be grounded in respect, understanding, safety and inclusion. We recognise the importance of culturally safe spaces and the powerful role that connection to family, community, identity and Country plays in health and wellbeing.

We are committed to continuing to learn, grow and walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with respect and humility, while striving to create a space where every person feels seen, heard, supported and valued.

Today, we remember the past, acknowledge the ongoing journey of healing, and stand together in hope for a more understanding and connected future. πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

πŸŒ… ANZAC Day β€” 25 April 2026 - Lest We Forget
As the sun rises over Medowie this morning, we join Australians and New Zealanders across the world in a moment of quiet reflection.

More than a century on, the ANZAC spirit endures courage, mateship, endurance, and the willingness to stand beside one another in the hardest of times. These are the values forged on the shores of Gallipoli, carried through every conflict since, and still alive today in the men and women who continue to serve.

Today, we honour them all. The fallen. The returned. The serving. And the families who wait, worry, and remember.

To every veteran and ADF member in our local community, please know that your service is seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Take a moment today. Pause at dawn, attend a service, lay a sprig of rosemary, or simply hold them in your thoughts.

Lest We Forget. 🌺

PLOT TWIST: Your dream private practice already exists. You just haven't walked through the door yet.

You became a therapist to help people.
Not to become an accountant, marketing manager, receptionist, and IT support.

What if you could skip all that?

At The Health Hub, we've already done the hard bit:
βœ… Full client waitlist across NDIS, Medicare, Private & DVA
βœ… Admin and marketing team (they're lovely, by the way)
βœ… Beautiful clinic space in the heart of Medowie
βœ… A community of allied health professionals who actually talk to each other

All you bring is your skills and your qualification / registration.
We're looking for Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists and any other therapists.

- Contractor? Set your own days, times, and caseload.
- Casual? Pick your hours. We sort the rest.
- Permanent? Let's chat!

Sounds too good? Come see for yourself.

❌ Eat lunch alone in your car

Things you WILL do:
βœ… See clients who are already booked and waiting
βœ… Work the days YOU choose
βœ… Get admin and marketing support
βœ… Actually enjoy being a therapist again

We need a Speech Pathologist, OT, and Psychologist.
Contractor or Casual.
Revenue share.
NDIS, Medicare, Private & DVA.

If this list looks suspiciously good, email Moira and she'll prove it.
