It was a productive and insightful day representing Heed Care disability Services at the Chisholm and City of Casey Health and Education Forum.
As Safety and Quality Manager at Heed Care, it was particularly valuable to engage with key leaders across the healthcare and education sectors and gain perspectives on the evolving needs of our community. A highlight for me was connecting with healthcare leadership teams, as well as reconnecting with former colleagues from Monash—always great to see familiar faces continuing to make an impact in the sector.
At Heed Care disability services , we see the growing importance of strong collaboration between providers, educators, and community organisations—especially in improving access to safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
I walked away with some great new connections and a renewed sense of purpose. There is real momentum when we come together with a shared goal of strengthening outcomes for our community.
Looking forward to turning these conversations into meaningful action.
