When we talk about Supported Accommodation, we often focus on the quality of the house but forget that what truly makes it a home are the dedicated people and care teams behind it.💜

Every May is Huntington’s Disease Awareness Month, a time to raise understanding, compassion, and support for individuals and families living with Huntington’s disease.

Huntington’s disease affects not only movement but also memory, thinking, emotions. Living with Huntington’s disease often requires more than medical and allied health support, it needs patience and strong support systems from family, friends, carers, and the wider community.

At Peak Care Services, we believe awareness matters. Greater understanding helps create more inclusive communities, encourages early support, and reminds families and carers that they are not alone in their journey.

We’d love to share a few common myths and truths about Huntington’s disease to help spread awareness and encourage more informed conversations. 💜
