MATERNITY LEAVE UPDATE🍼🎀🧸 

Time has absolutely crept up on me, and I’ve realised I should probs take some time off before baby arrives🤣 For those who have been asking- I’ll still be working throughout June and July, but l’ll be taking leave from August. 

What this means for CURRENT clients: 
At the end of your next session, we’ll be pre-booking your upcoming preferred days and times for June/ July 🔒 

What this means for RETURNING clients: 
If you’ve been planning to recommence sessions, you’ll be contacted by me shortly to schedule. 

What this means for NEW clients: 
Anyone just starting with me, or intending to start therapy ASAP, you’ve got a 2 whole ass months- this is golden. Let’s gooooo 🤝🏽

– learning boundaries 
– regulating the nervous system 
– stopping self-abandonment 
– unlearning the belief that your worth = productivity

Social Media Trends vs. Facts 💅🏽 

To regulate your nervous system means to support your body in moving out of a stress response (like fight, flight, freeze or fawn)- and back into a state of calm, safety and connection.  

Social media says:  
📱Sound-baths  
📱Infrared saunas  
📱Cold plunges  
📱Breathwork  
📱Mouth taping  
📱Cycle syncing  
📱HGW 

These things can be helpful…  

But, here’s what’s the MOST important:  
🔒Safety and security  
🔒Income and employment  
🔒Affordable housing  
🔒Access to food  
🔒Access to healthcare  
🔒Lack of discrimination or abuse  
🔒Secure attachments  

Don’t fall for the aesthetic trends that sell you the ‘formula’ for regulation. Keep it simple and focus on your BASIC NEEDS, first and foremost 🤎
