I’ve been deep in the numbers tonight… and this was my pause moment. 🍷

A second to breathe, reflect, and realise what’s actually been built here.

I’ve grown my business in a way I didn’t think was possible — as a solo Mum with 2 young kids, and maybe 3 child-free hours a week. And still… I did that.

One day I want to look back and tell my kids -
No matter how hard life feels, if you keep showing up and back yourself, things can change. Magic can happen 💫 🙏

And if I open that laptop and really look at rent, commissions, costs and inventory… it’s a whole different (and slightly terrifying) story.

But right now, I’m choosing this moment.

I’m proud.

The demands of both have reshaped my life — but in that, I’ve found a community of incredible small business owners who I so adore — their support, even on the harder days, will not be forgotten.

I’m also incredibly grateful — thank you to everyone who has supported my small, humble Hills business, shared my work, purchased from me, or simply cheered me on. It truly means more than you know 💕

And yes… the chaos in this photo is very real 😮‍💨 This is what it can look like behind the scenes.
In between kids, in between everything, in the small pockets of time I can find.

It’s not polished. It’s not quiet.
But it’s mine — and it’s working, even in the chaos

New pieces and a full restock have arrived in Jen’s beautiful

Including refreshed designs and original poems across my family card collection, along with many new sentimental pieces.

These new lines have been gently inspired by themes of self-care, kindness, and the beauty of wildlife.

I hope they bring a little meaning and joy to those who discover them 🫶🏻

Many scented products today — like candles, room sprays, car diffusers, perfumes and oil blends — simply list “fragrance” on the label.

But that single word can represent a blend of many fragrance compounds, often created in a lab, which aren’t individually disclosed.

As I learned more about the difference between essential oils and fragrance oils, it changed the way I look at scented products in my home.

🌿 Essential oils are extracted directly from plants and have traditionally been used in aromatherapy for their natural aromatic and therapeutic qualities.
They are usually listed by the plant name — for example lavender essential oil — so you know exactly which botanical oil is being used.

🌸 Fragrance oils, on the other hand, are typically lab-created scent blends designed to produce specific fragrances.

For me, understanding this became more important when thinking about what children, pets, and families may be breathing in or putting onto their skin each day, and making more informed choices about the products we bring into our homes.

🌿 It’s also important to remember that essential oils are concentrated plant extracts, so it’s important to read the warnings on the label. For example, some oils are not recommended during pregnancy or for use on babies, so proper guidance and dilution should also be outlined.

I’ve continued with a full rack in the beautiful . To make this possible, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes creating new ideas, branding, and some exclusive pieces.

My handmade family cards now carry new poems and refreshed designs, along with thoughtful new offerings I’ve been slowly bringing to life.

Sherelle, thank you for your kindness and support in making this space possible. It has encouraged me in such a positive way and gently pushed me to keep creating…

I’m very grateful, and I hope each piece quietly finds the person it was meant for 🫶🏻

A completely new stand design for me - needs some tweaks…ran out of bowls 🤣
