I was introduced to breathwork by a mate in 2019. My first experience was at a Wim Hof retreat.
From there I was intrigued about how, just by breathing your state of mind and body can change and feel so different.
Fast forward to 2020 and we all know what went down for the next few years. This was where I lost myself, my whole world changed, I was angry, frustrated and in a very dark place, although I didnt realise just how much until afterward.
I started practicing the Wim Hof method of breathing, I witnessed something in myself after doing the breathwork.
My mental state was better, I had peace after the session and I had experiences that could be addictive if I let it.
This was a pivitol point in my recovery from hate , feeling disgruntled and reactive, to calm and less reactive. Although since then there were a couple of incidences I lost my s**t over. 😳😳
It wasnt until 2024 I trained to become a certified breathwork facilitator to help others heal themselves through the breath.
That's where I am today, helping clients breath better, to regulate their nervous system, bring them back to calm, which can release the tension being held in the body, allowing the person to heal and when practiced regularly, help you deal with stresses better.
