Are mediums always “on”?

Nope. 😂

I’m not walking around all day seeing dead people like The Sixth Sense.

Mediumship is a state I consciously step into — and a state I step back out of.

It’s an energetic exchange, and being constantly open and connected would be exhausting. I’d have absolutely no batteries left! 🔋😂

And honestly… walking around seeing spirits everywhere would be pretty unsettling too.

So when I’m out living my everyday life, I’m just… living my everyday life. 😜

Mediumship happens when I intentionally create the space to connect.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. ✨

In this video, I’m sharing a little more about what happens during an energy healing with me — and how my approach has naturally unfolded and evolved through hundreds of healings and years of being guided by my guides.

We begin with clarity.

Through conversation and tuning into your energy, we bring awareness to what is happening within you. I look at the emotional body, exploring limiting beliefs, patterns, emotional cycles and, where possible, the deeper roots behind what may be showing up for you.

We then look at the physical body — what may be manifesting in your physical health and wellbeing, as well as the physical environments around you: relationships, career, home and other areas of your life.

Once we have brought awareness to what is happening, we move to the healing table.

This is where the integration begins.

Through clearing and balancing your energy fields, working with the chakras and meridian lines, balancing masculine and feminine energies, and supporting the nervous system to settle and calm, we create space for the body and energy system to integrate what has been uncovered.

This is where I believe the deeper shift can begin — allowing space for new conditioning, new patterns and different ways of responding to form.

But this is only an outline.

Every person is different, and every healing unfolds differently. I don’t come into a session with a script or predetermined outcome — I follow what your energy is showing me and allow the healing to unfold from there.

What I offer today has been shaped by years of experience, hundreds of individual healings and the guidance I receive from my guides. It continues to evolve with every person I work with.

Mediumship Myth #1 🔮

One of the biggest misconceptions about mediums is that we somehow know everything that’s going to happen in our own lives.

But the truth? We don’t.

Being a medium doesn’t mean having a crystal ball or being given the entire roadmap of your life.

We still experience life as humans. We still make choices, learn lessons, get things wrong, feel uncertain and sometimes have absolutely no idea what’s around the corner.

Sometimes we might receive little pieces of information or intuitive nudges — breadcrumbs along the path — but that doesn’t mean we know where the trail ends.

And when it comes to our own lives, there’s another layer. When the information involves people we love or situations we’re emotionally connected to, our own thoughts, hopes and fears can become involved. That makes it much harder to separate what we’re receiving from what our own mind is creating.

So yes, mediums can receive information.

But we’re not here to bypass the human experience.

We follow the breadcrumbs, just like everyone else. ✨

A few months ago, I had a reading with a client who was experiencing arthritis and inflammation in their hands.

During the reading, Spirit brought through rosehip capsules as something for them to look into.

I knew absolutely nothing about rosehip capsules, so afterwards I even went and told my mum about it, just in case it was something that might help her too. 😂

It’s these unexpected moments that still amaze me. When information comes through that I couldn’t have known myself, it’s such a beautiful reminder of just how fascinating this work can be. ✨

And just like that, my time at Lost Woods Market has come to an end. 💜

I’ve been sitting with this one, because it feels like so much more than simply finishing up a market.

Lost Woods has given me some incredibly special moments over the time I’ve been there — connections, conversations, laughter, tears, stories and so many beautiful people crossing my path.

And my final market was the perfect reminder of exactly why I’ve loved being there so much.

I had previous clients make the special trip back to see me, just to give me a hug and tell me what had happened since their reading. To hear how something from a reading had unfolded, how a message had landed, or how that connection had had a profound impact not only on them, but on their family too.

Those moments mean more to me than I can really put into words.

To everyone who has stopped by my stall, had a reading, shared a story, recommended me to someone, followed my work, or simply said hello — thank you. Truly. ❤️

I’m leaving Lost Woods, but I’m certainly not leaving this space.

I’ll still be doing what I love — connecting with people, reading energy, bringing through messages and creating a safe space for healing and connection — from my studio in Upwey and online.

So while this is goodbye to my regular Lost Woods stall, it’s not goodbye to the beautiful connections that have come from it.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined me for our first Mediumship Monday tonight. 💜

Thank you for showing up, for trusting the process, and for sharing this beautiful space with me. I'm also deeply grateful to Spirit and every communicator who stepped forward so lovingly.

Tonight we were reminded that spirit has a wonderful sense of humour (including a cheeky cat who clearly preferred to keep everyone guessing!), that love and wisdom continue through generations, and that our loved ones are still guiding us in ways we don't always realise.

One of the most touching messages came from a grandmother whose love for plants and natural healing continues to inspire her granddaughter today. And we finished with a beautiful reminder that brought comfort to so many—that our loved ones in spirit know our children, watch over them, and are part of their journey, even if they never had the chance to meet them here on earth.

Every event leaves me humbled. I never take for granted the privilege of being the bridge for these connections, and I often walk away with my own reminders and validations too.

Thank you for spending your Monday evening with me. I can't wait to do it all again next month. 💜
