Q: Do I have to take supplements forever?
Not necessarily. But personally, I probably will đź’Şđź’Ş
Our bodies are incredibly good at adapting to stress, exercise, illness, environmental exposures and the demands of everyday life. But when those demands become constant, sometimes we need additional support.
For me, supplements can help with three things:
1. Supporting the body during periods of increased physical, mental or lifestyle stress.
2. Filling nutritional gaps when diet, food quality or gut health may affect nutrient intake and absorption.
3. Supporting different stages of life when our body’s needs change, but our responsibilities don’t.
Supplements shouldn’t replace good nutrition, sleep, movement or lifestyle habits. They should complement them.
What you need today may be completely different from what you need six months from now, depending on your stage of life, current health, activity levels and what you’re asking your body to do.
A better question to ask is: what does my body need right now to function at its best?
If that question leaves you a little confused, send us a message and we can help you get more specific with the answer.
